"Short and pleseant stay"

Nice hotel close to city centre with parking. Good size room with comfortable beds. Bathroom is a bit small but well equipped and had a good shower.

"Fantastic hotel, great staff"
26th April 2012, Mustang74, Brisbane, Australia
We stayed at the Novotel for 2 nights during a visit back to UK...first in 10 years. We chose the hotel based on reviews and also the need for one room to fit the four of us. The staff were fantastic, from the desk staff to the bar staff, everyone was very friendly. One evening we came back to the bar with our family who we haven't seen for 12 years. We sat up for hours and at no point did they make us feel like we had to leave. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was fresh and kept us going for the day. For the price we paid it was great value for money. We would recommend this hotel for families.

"Nice, clean hotel relatively close to the centre"
25th April 2012, jrgould, Guildford
Stayed in the Novotel every week for six months in 2006, so thought I'd come back when I had a reason to stay in Bristol. Key for me was good quality parking, which in this case costs £10 for 24hrs and is underground, thus keeping your pride and joy away from prying eyes for relatively little cost. Room was as comfortable as ever and everything was as I remembered it. It's not close to Cabot Circus, if you are coming to do some shopping, but it is very close to Temple Meads if you are arriving by train.

"Gig Stayover"
10th April 2012, Swindon, United Kingdom
We went to a gig, so spent little time in the hotel but it was very relaxed and good quality rooms and beds. Great service (with a smile!) really enjoyed our stay :)

"Long weekend in Bristol"
30th March 2012, Oxford, United Kingdom
My wife and I stayed for three nights, this being our third stay at this hotel. As always the staff were friendly and helpful. Only negatives and thses are slight are the lack of towel rails (it's very difficult getting two large towels to dry on the small rail in the bathroom) and the pillows, although that may just be me.About a ten minute walk into the city centre, it's not worth waiting for a bus.Recommend the city tour bus. It's a good way of finding out what's in the city, particularly if you are there for more than a day. Also it's jump on and off all day so you can go round once and then use it to get to places you want to visit.

"Tried most in Bristol, and this suits us best"
27th March 2012, Maidstone, United Kingdom
This hotel has its own carpark unlike very many in Bristol and basic doubles have a bed settee which means both of you have a comfortable seat unlike executive suites and any room in other hotels. Why should one of you have to sit on a hard chair in a room for 2? Staff are smiley, helpful and rooms bright, clean and airy. Restaurant food is good, well priced and efficiently served. This time our waitress Ester was particularly charming and that all adds to a pleasant stay. If you want a quiet, spacious, modern hotel this is the one for you.

"Good base for Bristol"
22nd March 2012, Twickenham, United Kingdom
Modern, very clean hotel handily placed in Bristol - walkable from Temple Meads station and into the centre of the city. Breakfast was excellent. The bar was a bit more like a bar than usual. The car park is good. The staff were all very young and not all that well-trained. One of the receptionists seemed surprised that I would arrive with luggage. Although her colleague more than made up for it by assisting me to my room - in the absence of any porters.

"Good Stay"
17th March 2012, Swindon
Just a crash pad for an overnight stay while at work. Everything OK except they were too keen to clear the tables at Breakfast. Having left the table to get the cooked breakfast I came back and they had cleared away.

"Great value"
5th March 2012, BullenG, Hertford, United Kingdom
Good hotel & value for money - only down side though is that when we went they didn't have the 'Table de Hote' menu avaialable - so having booked 1/2 board you get an allowance of £21.95 pp from the Al a Carte menu. Still very good value and location is fine - short stoll down victoria street right into Shops, Mall & St Nicolas Mkt.For a cheap drink try the Weatherspoons in Corn St. at the Assembly rooms - right next to St. Nick Mkt .We paid the extra £15 for an Exec room & it gets you a coffe M/C, free water & better bathroom.Cinema in Cabot circus is great - the chairs rock, bit of a danger if the film isn't up to much as you'll definetly start snorring!

"Excellent!"
6th February 2012, AcdSomerset, acdSomerset
I enjoyed a very comfortable stay at the Bristol Novotel. The staff were all exceptionally polite, helpful, efficient and friendly. Check in and out were both quick and easy. The room was well equipped and the Nespresso coffee machine was a real plus. The room service meals were of excellent quality and good value. The only negative was the fact that the internet access was incredbly slow, to the point of being virtually unusable.

"Interesting Service"
2nd February 2012, Earl Soham, United Kingdom
Really nice place to stay and the staff are friendly but don't expect excellence service at supper time! I waited for ages and then when meal came both first and second courses were served together! It must be a Bristol thing!

"A good night"
9th January 2012, Templecombe
I stayed at the Novatel Bristol Centre again for a single night and found it very good. Very friendly check-in; clean, spacious room which was well appointed and a great breakfast. It was ideal for what I wanted, which is some where to stay after an office party!
