Cannabis!

We had to curtail our two-night stay after only one night. From the early evening onwards, the corridors on the second floor where our room was situated was full of increasingly strong smell of cannabis. By the time of my return to our room at around 10:30pm, the smell was very strong and permeating into our room. We had to open the windows to clear the smell, which was simply unacceptable for our two-year-old (or for anyone, for that matter). Also, my wife's room service omelette had two odd blue pieces in it which she found after consuming almost all of it. Further, our morning was interrupted by a knock on the door from the room attendant at 7:53am wanting to make up our room, which seems far too early.

The location is perfect both for the train station and visiting the city. Very efficient staff, clean, quiet room with comfortable bed and good shower. Good value for money

we stayed in Room 102, on Thursday , Friday and saturday night. The Saturday night was very noisy with apparently a Church band playing very load music below our room

We complained to reception, but the band played from 7.30pmm to 9.30 pm on Saturday 9/3/24, and then again at 9am on Sunday 10/3/24. We cannot understand why IHG allow a band to play in the downstairs of the hotel. We specifically requested a low flow and quiet room as I have recently come out of hospital following a triple heart bypass.

not really good experience

Only stay one night in Novetel Bristol, requested late check out but didn't get it (Even I am Accor Diamond member). I'm not feeling well on the morning, so I took medicine after I ate breakfast, and went to bed again. The Housekeeper kept knocking the door while I'm sleeping, she just ask me when she can clean the room, I told her I will check out today, it is really annoying.
