"great hotel"

Novotel is located in a very convenient location. The hotel is modern and has been kept very clean. The rooms are a generous size, especially by european standards. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is good although the meal selection lacks a little diversity over a long term stay. There are some dining options surrounding the hotel but the best are really over the bridge in the city centre. Overall, I will always prefer to stay at novotel when staying in Luxembourg.

Good hotel and very nice staff. People were friendly. Parking is a bit expensive, and if you arrive late, you can pay direct in the parking lot, it is going to be cheaper. Free internet is a plus. Rooms are clean and comfortable. It is within a walking distance from city center.

Novotel Luxembourg Centre is in a good location with easy walking access to the centre of the old town and plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.The general service of the staff was great and local influence of the restaurant menu was welcomed. The rooms are a very good size and the free internet access is fast.The channel selection on the TV was a bit disappointing and the shower head provides too low a pressure but they are small negatives on an otherwise very good hotel.

Efficient, friendly welcome. Free wifi everywhere. Lovely food and service in the restaurant. We stayed on probably the hottest night of the year and were very comfortably cool in our room. Typical Novotel room with innovative bathroom, separate WC.

Super friendly staff, and as always clean, nice size room. Very close to the city center (easily within walking distance). Had some construction going on but we were gone during the day so it wasn't an issue. Buffet was great - tad expensive, but very tasty and super nice staff.

Novotel Luxembourg Centre is exceptionally good value for money, ideally located for walking into the city centre or down to the Grund. Staffed by very friendly and competent people who are obviously well trained and a credit to their direction. Clean,well maintained,secure and a real pleasure to have experienced,particularly as the purpose of our visit was for my wife's birthday.

Excellent friendly and accomodating service. The staff is very professional and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great with a wide variety of healthy choices. I found the fitness room to be of good quality and easily accessible. Well done Novotel.

"Comfortable weekend"

Excellent hotel: room, bed, breakfast (never mind it costs 20 euro, it is totally worth it and will keep you going almost until dinner withouth feeling hungry). To get to the center you need to walk like 10 minutes, though it is a very pleasant walk crossing one of the bridges! Personnel is very attentive and caring, providing pergect service!

The hotel is located in the center of Luxembourg, while in a quite surrounding. Walking distance to central station about 10 minutes. It has a very business-like and at the same time friendly atmosphere. Rooms, breakfast and especially mini-bar prices are high, but the same goes for the quality.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a recent business trip to Luxembourg. Luxembourg not renowned for good value hotels but have to say the Novotel was a find. Good location, clean hotel. Rooms quite spacious and all in all a cheaper alternative to its nicer but more expensive sister hotel, the Sofitel Grand Ducal around the corner.

Stayed at Novotel Luxembourg Center over 2011/2012 New Year's with my mother, brother and 2 small children. the kids got nice stuffed toys upon check in and there was a play corner in the lobby with building blocks, xbox, books and bean bags. Hotel was situated an easy walk to the center of old town of Luxembourg and easy distance to train station. Front desk staff was very helpful and multilingual. Rooms were large by european standards and have sofa beds which is nice for kids. The windows do not open in the room and the heat was set on 25*C when we came in, so it was a bit overheated. Great breakfast, which was included in room price - eggs, beans, bacon and usual continental spread. Recommend this for families.

I was driving through the country on my way to France. It was a brief stay and regretted not having longer to appreciate the hotel and what it had to offer. The room was spacious & very clean. we had an excellent nights sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is situated close to the main station, in a quite side-street, and within easy walking distance of the city and most of the attractions. The rooms are well equipped and clean. The breakfast was very varied and sumptuous. Great place to stay in, whether for business or leisure. Would definitely recommend it and stay in it again, should we visit luxembourg. The only shortcoming was the bed... it could be a little harder... it was too soft in my opinion.

"Used mayo & umbrella deposit"

I had booked a room couple of months in advance but when checking in, they informed me that i could only be allocated to a disabled room.I ordered room service (a burger and a beer) but when opening the mayo jar I was astonished to find out that the lid was already opened and half of the mayo was missing - most probably they served the same jar to the previous guest and never noticed he used it, so they decided to serve to the next one - me!When checking out I had to observe that I had been charged EUR 20 for an umbrella deposit that I never borrowed. The check in clerk apologized and assumed that they had booked it on the wrong room...
