ibis Nuits Saint Georges: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Fast Food"

3rd October 2011, Farnham, United Kingdom

The one thing which we weren't quite so happy with was the speed of service in the restaurant - talk about "fast food"! We are used to lingering over a meal and indeed there was no pressure to vacate the table once we had finished eating, but we did feel hurried between courses. This might appeal to some people, eg those with young children, but we did find it a bit of a surprise. However, this is a super location for a hotel - you can easily walk into the town (5-10 minutes away) and the team was very friendly and helpful.

ibis Nuits Saint Georges: 3.0 out of 5 stars "It's time to renovate"

3rd October 2011, Olga_Khramova, Kiev

We met a number of disadvantages: elevator absence, rooms were cleaned, but require renovation. The main shortcoming - the restaurant was not working on sunday, and there is no anoter restaurant nearby. Thus we had arrived about 20:00 we had no opportunity to have dinner and went to sleep hungry.

ibis Nuits Saint Georges: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Good overnight stay"

24th September 2011, Chelmsford

Pretty central to town, only a few minutes walk to the restaurants. Clean and tidy, welcoming staff, excellent wifi connection, good breakfast. rooms small but entirely satisfactory; good for a ingle overnight stay.

ibis Nuits Saint Georges: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Ibis hotel - Nuits St George"

4th September 2011, travelling

In common with all Ibis hotels there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. At the price the hotel charges this little extra would help to make the stay feel less expensiveStaff on the front desk should be better trained and learn to be pleasant and smile instead of being a little too grumpy. Monitoring of their internet connection/codes would also be helpful instead of relying on customers complaining about inability to use the WiFi connection to alert them - once again without any appolgy.

ibis Nuits Saint Georges: 1.0 out of 5 stars "Nuits St georges"

2nd August 2011, bury st edmunds

This is the fith occasion we have stayed here during our tours of France - we come to collect wine from Domain Jacob and we find the hotel very convenoient and comfortable. Yet again, a pleaseant stay - thank you

ibis Nuits Saint Georges: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Lived up to its reputation"

9th July 2011, solomonp, Dymchurch

We booked to stay here because of earlier reviews on trip-advisor. They were spot on. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Dinner in the restaurant was great and breakfast the following day was just what we required. The only criticisms I could make would be that the bed could have been better sprung (I'm fussy about my bed) and better signage to help locate the hotel from the autoroute. We definitely plane to stay agin next year.

ibis Nuits Saint Georges: 4.0 out of 5 stars "IBIS as Standard"

18th May 2011, Warrington

Whenever I travel through France I invariably stay at an Ibis hotel because of location , clos by motorway intersections, value for money, attentive staff and reasonable food, and this hotel was no different, meeting all of my expectations. Also with free WI fi access allows me to keep in touch whilst away from my base.

ibis Nuits Saint Georges: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Nice place to stop-over"

14th February 2011

Just stayed the one night en-route to the Alps for ski trip. Unfortuantely, due to the British weather, our ferry was delayed in Dover for 3.5 hours so we didn't arrive at the hotel until nearly 1am!! Luckily our sat nav helped us find the hotel as it isn't just off the motorway or in a town like most of the other Ibis hotels we have stayed at, but tucked away a bit about 5-10mins from the junction. The staff were very helpful and we just managed to sneak in for breakfast, which was better than I had expected with a good choice of food served in a bar area which seemed to have a lot of character. The countryside in this area is wonderful and we drove along the minor roads towards Beaune the next morning through the vineyards before getting back on the motorway to continue the journey. We would like to come back to the Burgandy area later in the year when the vines have grown and changed colour, and would stay at this hotel again.
