"Excellent choice"

Not a luxurious hotel, but veyr comfortable with fair price. The highest point is the location. In a beautiful upscale neighborhood, with lots of shops and good restaurants around and within walking-ditance from the center.

Ibis Batel is located right in the best spot of Batel neighborhood, close to great restaurants, shops and business places. Excellent value for one of the best located hotels in Curitiba, where similar hotels have rates twice expensive than Ibis Batel.
"If you only need a place to sleep...."

We normally stay at the Mercure Golden around the corner but the prices were so high that we opted for the Ibis. Great location, close to several malls and restaurants..so if you are just needing a place to sleep, it is a good choice. However, not much else to do at the hotel....you have to pay for wifi, no 110 outlets anywhere in the hotel (they offered a 20 pound transformer to carry to your room but we didn't feel safe using it with our laptop), only about 5 channels on the TV, no pool, no sauna, no workout facility. We'll return to the Mercure Golden on our next trip.
