"Excellent room but poor staff"

THe hotel room was very clean and very nice. Also the location of the hotel is very near the S train station which is very useful. The hotel stuff though did not have any clue of how you should treat your guests. Outside was 10 degrees and the first day of my stay there was no heating in the room. When I asked them about that they have sent a technician who tried to fix the situation by giving me an small and noisy air heating.View management response »

"An excellent stay, ... except the breakfast"

My wife and I had an excellent stay et the Pullman Hotel in the southern suburb of Stuttgart. We enjoyed in particular the pool and the spa in the afternoon and in the morning. The pool, although a bit small, is well clean. The chaises longues, extra towels and other amenities are pleasant. We also enjoyed our delicious Swabian dinner at the hotel restaurant. The staff also speaks English, while we tried our survival German with them. The dishes were well prepared and the check was reasonable for the meals and the drinks (two Pils beers and a Sprüdel or sparkling water bottle) we had. However, the breakfast in the morning at the same location where we had our dinner previously was the bad surprise. Although the food items and their variety displayed from the buffet were of good quality (except the yogurts at room temperature, instead of being chilled), when checking out with the reception desk, we found it was 22 euros per person! What? We did not eat for twenty-two euros worth of breakfast, maybe ten euros would have been reasonably priced. Next year when we come back to the Pullman, we will have breakfast somewhere else.On the overall, it was still a pleasant weekend experience, except for the breakfast.

a very nica and clean SPA - we enjoyed the jacuzzi!Great breakfast and we liked the champain. also the flexibility towards the late chack-out was nice.only the extra charges (16€ per 24 hours) for the garage parking is to expensive (certainly during the period of ongoing working construction in the garage our car got quite a lot of dust).....

Every thing was good except the Wireless connections. You could only keep a connection like on my cell phone and Notepad for a few mins. then it would disconnect, then you would have to login again. Over here in the USA when I connect my phone or Notepad it stays connected until I leave the hotel, but when I come back it will connect it's self back on the wireless network. That is the only thing I have to say about this hotel. The people are always good to me when I stay there.
