Staff on arrival was very friendly and helpful; especially the gentleman who checked me in. I was given good recommendations on how to move around from the hotel, and make me feel that I could approach the staff if I had any questions. Good place to stay and I will definitively will stay again when I came back to Amsterdam.

The staff is very friendly. Everyone is smiling and willing to help. Room is very clean and comfortable but bathroom sink was showing signs of wear-out. Breakfast variety is also very good. What I did not like was the confusion about breakfast invoicing. My reservation was not including breakfast. During check-in, I requested to pay for the breakfast upfront to have it in the invoice, the receptionist said that it is only possible to pay at the restaurant. At the restaurant, I paid and asked for breakfast receipt and I was told it is not possible, and only the reception can issue it. At check-out, I asked to include the breakfast in the invoice, and was told that it is not possible and they can only given me a breakfast receipt of the check-out day. I ended up with missing proofs of the breakfast cost to be reimbused by my company.

lostbird928 Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

The room was nice and spacious and bed comfortable. Facilities were clean and staff lovely and let me leave my baggage after I checked out. The only downer is that it’s the last stop on the metro from Amsterdam Central so takes over 30 minutes. But bus is only 25 minutes. It is a good stop if you are going Zaandam, the closest main station is Sloterdijk. It is also near a mosque. But there’s no local shops.
