"Good value hotel"

I experienced good service from reception and had a clean room with everything I needed for my weekend stay. The hotel is near to brick lane which is good for the markets and some nightlife. It's handy to have Aldgate east tube station so near too.View management response »

Hotel was all you could want. 2 minutes walk to the tube station,15/20 minutes walk to Tower Bridge. Our room on fourth floor was oh so quiet. It was a good restful night. Food was excellent in the restaurant, both breakfast and evening meal.Would stay again without a doubt.View management response »

There wasn't any problem with the hotel, although the breakfast was cold and there wasn't much variety, just bacon, sausage,egg & beans, I was going to be out on a construction site all day and would have liked more choice I.e mushrooms, hash browns etc...View management response »

"Excellent value for money"

Stayed in this hotel overnight whilst in London for a wedding. Price was excellent value, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, the best I've seen in this type of hotel. Will definitely be choosing ibis in future.View management response »

This hotel is in a very good position, closet to the underground and not far from Tower Bridge and Tower of London. My room was not big, but clean and well organized.Staff has been polite and helpful. Restaurand is quite good.View management response »

"An OK stay."

Located right next to Aldgate East tube station, so excellent location for London travel in general. Clean and staff generally friendly. English Breakfast options could be greater, and drilling/repair work was being carried out prior to 9am in the room next to me, that was extremely poor from a customer service/relaxtion point of view. "Good value base for exploring London."

Cleanliness - mouse at breakfast.Service - I did not get the room I requested weeks in advance, even though I informed them it was for a special occasion. Given a room with a very poor view and could not seen Gerkin as expected.Location- Area around Hotel is like a building site, but East Aldgate underground is only a few yards away. Value - ExcellentRoom - Between Travelodge and Premier Inn standard.Sleep Quality - Slept very soundly.Overall, if cost is the priority then a good place to stay.View management response »

"Poor value for money"

The rooms are small, you can hear what is happening in the room next door, there was some mould in the bathroom. You can forget about minibar or quick wifi. However on the plus side the location is perfect, restaurant is very nice and the food is really nice.View management response »

"Overnight in the City"
