The hotel is really nice. Staff at reception were friendly. Charlotte at the bar was really helpful. Only thing that bugged me was breakfast, everything had ran out and it was 9:00am. Didn’t get to eat much but other than that the stay was comfortable. Would recommend .

Lovely welcome and check in. Good service until I had to take work call at the reception sofa after check out and cleaning lady with a hoover decided to ask me to lift my feet to hoover under them.. while I was on a phone… and then proceeded to hoover the sofa around me! Nearly sucked my jacket in! Surreal is an understatement🤯

My last three trips to London have all included a stay at Ibis Shoreditch well nearly Shoreditch it’s next door in Whitechapel. Nevertheless it’s brilliant.

Great location but customer service could be improved better

Check in was advertised from 3pm, we arrived about 2pm and had food and drinks in bar. There was only one staff member at bar taking orders for food and drink so service was pretty slow. I ordered a nachos which I imagined would be fast enough to prepare- other members of my party ordered burgers and calamari which arrived in a timely fashion. 25 mins after ordering - my nachos had still not arrived. The rest of my party were finished eating and when I complained to staff member they were quite rude and stated that it wasn't their fault. Nachos arrived a few mins after. Upon check in after 3pm- our room was not ready. When I queried the time and asked why it wasn't ready a room was found. When we got to the room it was a twin room with a child's camp bed instead of the triple room we had paid for. It was significantly smaller and unsuitable for 3 adults. When we complained reception staff again advised there was no room ready. Then one mysteriously became available again when we pushed it. The 2nd room was what we had originally requested- a triple room. It was modern and comfortable with the exception of lack of hand towels and a smell of sewerage coming from bathroom.

Our stay was lovely and staff were helpful and informative! I would say the mattresses would need updating . Also, at breakfast , more fruits would be appropriated; we had apple, sometimes bananas and oranges. In all , it was a lovely stay. Thank you.
