I had higher expectations for this hotel. The building and furniture were old, the hairdryer was melted, breakfast options were poor, and the staff seem.

Good Location, Iffy Beds

The location, near the Florence airport is very good. I was traveling with a friend, and we had very narrow twin beds. The pillows were uncomfortable...not uncommon in Italy, but still not acceptable. The bed covering was strange. Hard to describe. The sheets weren't attached to the bed. We had a very early flight, so didn't attempt the breakfast. Will probably pass on the Ibis next time.

We booked for 3 nights but we just stayed for a night. It's hard to go to Florence proper (the location of this hotel is outside florence) from this location (we went there November). There's no bus near the location. There's a bus stop in front hus no bus go there during our stay. Uber costs us 31euros per ride going to florence. So we just forfeited our next 2 nights and booked a different hotel near santa mari novella.

1) Drinking hot water is extremely inconvenient Although you can get a cup of hot water on the first floor But some staff are very unfriendly 2) The bed is uncomfortable
