"Good breakfast, room quite small"

I stay with my girlfriend, I thought that the room was a bit small for the price, apart from that the level of cleanliness was good, the bed was big and comfortable and the shower was quite good too.Overall it was good!

"Well run hotel"

When the price is right I will stay there any time.its a very nice location, and very easyto get to from Central London, and also many good restaurants and drinking places nearby .Unless you are going to an exhibition at the Excell do not stay here as prices becomeridiculous

"Great night's sleep!"

Wanted to stay local to work in North Greenwich to attend the Christmas party and not have to worry about getting home. The hotel was close to public transport and convenient for work and the hotel was clean, shower excellent and a good nights sleep was had. Would stay here again at this price.

"Cable Car Heaven"

Convenient for Stratford Westfield, Emirates Air lIne and Greenwich and Cutty Sark. But it worth paying a little more for a more welcoming location.Reception and Restaurant staff very charming and helpful.

"So relaxing"

The service was really helpful and the rooms were so lovely. It was roomy and the new beds they had were so comfy and relaxing. I haven't slept so well in a long time and it made me want to take the bed and hotel room back home with me! I will be staying here everythime I come to London from now on.

"Fawlty Towers???"

ust be the only hotell in London with staff that have sevére difficulties in understanding "Inglish".The hotel has a promise of service within 15 minutes, but this only occur if Y ou go down to the reception yourself! The restaurant that mostly serve micro-wave food, was closed on the friday I arived (only for french groups), without any warning or signage.Rooms has no fridge, no dustbin (there is one at the bathroom), no view (chech in at Novotel if You don"t have a fetish for backyards) and no parking.If You are visiting ExCel for a few days, the location is superb. otherwise avoid this

"Brilliant for Olympics"

Stayed here 1 night whilst attending olympic events at Greenwich and the Excel. Bedroom overlooking the river and O2 arena. Pleasant desk staff and atmospheric because of the olympians floating around. Decent enough breakfast.

"IBIS Docklands great value"

W had been to a music event at London Pleasure Gardens so this IBIS Hotel was nearby. It would also be a good location for anyone visiting the Excel Arena, Olympic Park or any London Dockland location. Good clean room, plently of room (due to it doubling as a room for disabled persons. An interesting bathroom booth in the corner, again specially designed for wheelchair users, excellent shower too! The bad was very comfortable and room not in a noisy location which helped. Recommended. Good value.

"Razoável"

- Internet is not free!!!- It was very complicate to do the check-in, because they ask for a debit using the same bank card... we've needed call the manager.- Bar service is terrible. I've waited around 20min to get a bottle of water.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good value for money. Short distance walk to nearest DLR station.

"A tour hotel"

They try hard, but you need to check what time the tours have booked breakfast if you want to compete! They need to have more staff in early to cope at times

"Budget hotel Near City Airport"

Basic for business popular with groups of Students. Limited local amenities, good caribean restaraunt and weatherspoons type pub. OK at the price,wouldn't pay over the odds ie more than £90 per night.

"A great stay"

Its difficult to find fault with the Ibis as they provide good bedding and clean facilities, and really, when travelling for sight seeing, that is all you need. The bed is very comfortable and there were extra pillows provided, we slept very well! The toilet was funny as it was like a cabin in a ship, but it added a bit of eccentricity to the room which was nice. The towels were a little thin, but then again, I didnt expect to have luxury bath sheets. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I will continue to stay at Ibis hotels when necessary. If you want a little more luxury you can always go up to Sofitels and Mercures and Novotels, but at this time, the Ibis was exactly what I needed.The Ibis near the Excel is well situated (walking distance to DLR royal victoria station) and has amenities nearby that are open til 12 should you feel peckish late in the evening.My only issue is that I filled in a form at check in where i ticked that I would require assistance during evacuation (my mother has a pacemaker and is 70 and I was 8.5 months pregnant, and during our stay there was a fire alarm (later found out that it was from a tampered with alarm) and we were not provided any assistance at all, considering that they placed us on the 5th floor. It may have been more prudent if they placed us on the ground floor considering our status..but everything went without a hitch (the evacuation)..aside from this (which in the future, I will be the one to request for a 1st floor room) I fully recommend the ibis at excel docklands and will return there should I be in the area again.
