2 STAR HOTEL. Check In receptionist spoke terrible English. We could not understood a word she said in her mumbled, slurred voice. She became annoyed when asked to slow her speech so we could try to understand. As a "budget" hotel, we were not expecting great things, however an ice machine in the hotel would've been nice. Overall I would recommend paying a bit more for a 3 star hotel in a nicer area.

You have booked into a 2 star budget hotel, all facilities and amenities are clearly listed on the website when making the booking and these do not include an ice machine. In regards to my receptionist, I am rather taken back at your comment given her English is perfect, along with her tone and pronunciation, and myself and my team are proud to have her a member of the hotel staff. We hope you do find a hotel that suits your requirements for any future stays, I would however like to advise, in the UK, you will not find a 3 star hotel with an ice machine, you may need to look 4 stars and above for that. Check in was easy and reception staff were pleasant. Andy friendly.Our adapted room was large and comfortable with good views of the river and the Kingston Bridge. The hotel was about 35 minutes walk from Queen Street station and about 25 minutes walk from the Ovo and SSEC. There are several restaurants and cafes close by and the breakfast in the hotel was very good. The only downsides were that there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room although these are available in the breakfast room and the soap dispensers in the bathroom were a bit difficult to use.

It was a good stay for one night. I stayed with my family(my husband,son and I).staff is good.parking is free which is not a problem at all.the missing items in the room were a kettle,tea bags and cutlery,hair dryer,iron. I read someone’s review so I brought these things with me there. Overall its worth to stay there for 1 or 2 nights max. Room and bathroom was clean.shower was not handy.
