Stayed in this hotel when it was first opened, fully impressed then. The hotel is aging and services are a bit relaxed sometime.

"Great location for jaunts into London"
12th April 2012, Northampton, United Kingdom
Probably the friendliest and most helpful staff we have encountered in a British hotel. Breakfasts great value given choice of food available. No traffic or railway noise. Still charge for internet which is almost a necessity now and limited wardrobe space in a family room only gripes.

"December 2011"
2nd March 2012, Hartlepool, United Kingdom
This is the second time at the Novotel, Greenwich (and 3rd time at a Novotel). Probably not the best location if you want to be fairly central but the compromise is that its cheaper. That said, the train station was right next to the Novotel. I would recommend a boat trip from Greenwich to the London eye, you get a lovely view of Tower Bridge. The service was really good, as was the breakfast, my daughters loved the waffles and enjoyed the variety of fruit. The family room is ok, its not big, but it was clean. The only criticism was that there is not enough wardrobe space for a family.

"top quality and very professional stafff"
1st February 2012, Newport, United Kingdom
We stayed in Novotel Greenwich for a couple of days, Adrian on reception gave us a warm welcome and provided all the information he thought we might need regarding the room, services and tourist info. Also, we would like to thank the french boy and girl working in breakfast on Friday morning. The three of them very polite, professional and friendly. Great breakfast with a wide variety of items. No complaints at all about the room and the cleanliness. Perfect the way it is, sadly we couldn't stay longer, we will definitely come back, thanks!
"don`t hesitate"

it was a perfect stay. Train station is just next door, you arrive Trafalgar Square in 15 minutes. The reception was friendly and helpful. They even gave us a room before check in hour. The rooms were clean, large enough for a family with a child. I would never search for another hotel in London.

Hotel ideally located right next door to the train station. London Bridge is 10 mins away and trains are every 10 mins! Restaurant/bar food was excellent. Staff very helpful.I put up a 'Do Not Disturb' sign and this was respected. Breakfast was rather expensive so I didnt bother, but that was the only gripe l had.

"Unfortunate problems"
20th October 2011, Wetherby, United Kingdom
Unfortunately at check in Accor's main computer was down. Initially they gave us a room with Handicap facilities - my wife objected to taking that room, as it may be required by someone who needed it. Only problem with room we were then given was that the repeated blinking of the active lights on the smoke detector kept my wife awake. Staff were very pleasant and efficient at sorting out problems, booking cabs etc. Gym excellent. Overall hotel is too expensive - but I guess that is London.
"As good as ever"
13th September 2011, Cambridge, United Kingdom
I use this hotel regularly when working in London as Greenwich is buzzing and by the river without the congestion and fuss of central London. The station is also literally next door to the hotel so getting in to London (albeit crowded in the morning) is very speedy and easy. Service always excellent too. I get greeted by name at the bar even though the gaps between my stays is often five to six months. Good rooms, food OK.
"Excellent!!"
9th September 2011, Wiesbaden, Germany
We were traveling with young children <1, 4, 8 and with their grandparents. We were pleased in every way with this hotel. The staff was courteous, prompt, and professional. They attended our every need, knew who we were when we came down to breakfast, and helped us find our way around town. The breakfast was very good and sported a great variety.

"well placed and dependable"
5th August 2011, aclubmember, Essex
In general the Novotel brand has to us become a dependable brand: we know what to expect and we like it. In particular the Greenwich hotel was all that we expected. Thesite is literally next door to the railway station and within walking distance of the Royal Obsevatory in Greenwich Park, the Maritime and other museums including the Cutty Sark sailing vessel. Thus there is plenty of local interest but also rapid access to Central London by train or at a more leisurely pace by boat up the Thames.

"The perfect 'village' hotel"
28th June 2011, BobtheReviewer
This Novotel easily matches Accor standards - very welcoming receprtionist who couldn't do enough to please, clean, spacious, comfortable room with everything you could need. The hotel is right next door to the DLR and overland station and a very short walk into the centre of Greenwich 'village'. Altogether a pretty near perfect place to stay if you want to enjoy all that Greenwich has to offer.
