Very close to city center and river. Affordable price. Staff on reception is very friendly and helpful. Room is very clean but bedsheets is little dirty and smells bad. Just 10min walking distance from city square. Recommended.!!!!!!!!!

Aleksandra in the reception was very helpful arranging a slightly later check-out as well as calling a taxi. Another young woman in the reception was quick to clean up a broken glass in my room. Both with a smile.

I recently stayed at the Novotel Krakow City West, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet the expectations for a 4-star hotel. Initially, we were assigned a room that had such a strong dye smell due to recent painting that it was unbearable to stay for more than a few seconds. Thankfully, the staff was accommodating and offered us another room. However, the alternative had an overwhelming odor of old furniture, which suggested a need for updates and refurbishment. The room’s amenities, including the old TV and the noticeably yellow thermostat, further reflected the dated nature of the furnishings. Additionally, the mini-bar was empty, and there was no complimentary water provided, which was quite disappointing. It’s also worth noting that parking comes at a high cost of 65 PLN per day. Had I known about these issues beforehand, I would have reconsidered my booking. This hotel might be in need of significant updates to truly reflect its advertised star rating.
