this ia a great hotel . it's location is perfect because it's just a five minute walk from the main square and it's right across from a beautiful mall so if you forget something you dont have to worry!View management response »

As always my stay was good the hotel is ideally situated for meeting my customers the food is good and the rooms are comfortable additionally the staff are very helpful. Excellent wellcome at the reception. I am a frequent guest there, still welcome is more than I would expect from a large chain hotel.Typical Novotel room. I like size of the room, sofa. Nice extra is free beverages. Bed is quite good, but makes quite basic experience. The biggest problem of the majority of rooms is ventillation/air conditioning. Even in cold November day ventiallation didn't provide enough cold air. So always ask for a room with opened windows! Bathroom is alsa large and quite comfortable. I had a dinner in the hotel restaurant. It was not a great experience. Ceasar's salad was OK, but it was not what I would call a real ceasar's salad. Polish rye soup was OK. For mains I had a fillet mignon steak. It was supposed to be served with onion rings. As it run out I got chips without any warning. Real disaster was steak. I asked for medium rare. I got it raw. Replacement steak was again raw. It was then recooked. This time chef wanted to make sure it is not raw. And he did by making a well done steak. Very big dissapointment, specially with a very high price for location of 85 PLN for a quite small piece of meat with chips and green beans. To be positive waiter was very good and tried his best in this situation.Breakfast choice was ok, but for its price I would expect better choice and better quality of ingredients. Unfortunately there is no more Nespresso machines. As it was fair time hotel was quite occupied. In effect it was very difficult to find clean table (a lot of dirty tables), also there was a long line to coffee machine. Fortunately I paid the bill at checkin. So I didn't have to wait with the crowd of people at reception. Overall good service, good rooms, terrible ventiallation and quite poor food. Good value for money with the business rate I paid. However if I was to pay normal price it is definetely not worth it.

The Nova Hotel is ideally located ten minutes walk from central station,and twenty minutes walk from Poznan old town .The hotel can be seen very easily once you get out from the train station out on to the road as it is a sixteen story building.We cannot comment on the breakfast as we did not have any at the hotel as it was beyond our budget .We did not have a drink in the bar as we found it very primitive and had a limited choice of beers. Not a place to relax to after a long days sightseeing.This is the only fault we had with his fine modern hotel and would go back there again if we ever go back to poznan.
