"Excellent hotel in good location"

Stayed at this Hotel for 3 nights however one cannot help but be impressed by the exemplary service offered at this Hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff are very helpful.I will definitley be returning when in Venizia :))View management response »

"practical choice selection when visiting Venice"

Have stayed for several nights in this hotel. good quality, excellent location by the highway and next to the road to Venice. Personnel friendly and helpful. have to mention that this hotel is crowded with tourists, on one hand this means that hotel is good but on the other hand it gets crowded and noisy in the lobby and restaurant.

The hotel is good value for what is paid. The breakfast at the hotel was particularly good. It's not in Venice city centre but it just a 15 min bus ride which costs just 1.30euro to get to Venice. Will definately stay there again.View management response »

"Restaurant service appalling - waitress no customer skills"

We prepaid a gastronomy package at the restaurant. The waitress proceeded to take away our menu and to tell us what we were entitles too. The gastronomy selection in the menu was not on offer. The quality of the meal was not good. The service was the worst we have experienced in our travels. "Not a place for famillies!"

We are family with 3 kids. they gave us a room with a Queen bed + sofa that was supposed to accomodate 2 kids but was completely unusable - springs get stuck in your back and the kids complained about pain in the morning!For the 3rd kid (6 years old) we had to buy an extra room (!!) although we didn't use it, because the rules are that the room cannot accomodate more than4 people.Bathroom was dirty with stains in the bath tub.Service was poor too - cannot send a kid to ask for something from the front desk as they will reply with 'no' to any request. only when an adult talks to them they agree to help.Breakfast was fair, though dining room is too crouded and you need to stand in line for a table for over 5 minutes..Do not recommend this hotel.

A hotel with very much inconvenient location and bad quality beds!Its swimming pool is small. It is absolutely not recommended to those who expect to have some comfort during their stay at this hotel.

We had a very pleasant stay for two nights.We have stayed at Novotel Hotels several times in Germany, France, Italy and Malaysia. This hotel has been one of the bests.

Hotel fully booked but very quiet which is the most important for me. That is why I choose Accor Hotel.The room carpet was recently cleaned and sofa was still in the meedle of the room. There was a big paint stain in the carpet nearby the bed. Good for business if you go to Padova but not at all for romantic Venise vacations.I can scan invoice to management if they need

Am a regular Novotel customer, however, overall I was disappointed with Novotel V Mestre. The main reasons are:(1) LocationThe location is not as convenient as the hotel advertises. The bus near the hotel to Venice stops running around 8 PM - the last one runs at 7:50 PM. Also, there are only 2 buses per hour. After the last bus you have to walk further down the road passing under a tunnel to get another bus to reach the Mestre train station. Also, if you use the train, when you get off at the V Mestre train station the taxi charges you Euro 20 with luggage and Euro 15 without luggage. This significantly reduces the saving you expect whilst staying away from V Mestre train station. (2) Air-conditioningThe air-conditioning didn't work well at all. Wasn't possible for me to sleep in my usual sleeping gear because of the heat. (3) TVTV didn't work at all. When my wife complained the staff asked her questions rather then sending someone to check-it out. (4) MaintenanceOne of the lights on the mirror was faulty.(5) Checkout At the time of checking in we were given breakfast vouchers. I thought wow they are giving something for free, then I realised that I would have to pay for breakfast (I think it was Euro 12 per person per day). At the time of checkout they asked me to return the vouchers before refunding the additional amount they had kept for extra expenses. I had not kept the vouchers therefore had to wait before the reception staff took permission from her supervisors. To conclude, I would stay at a hotel near the V Mestre station (walking distance) rather than staying at Novotel again.
