"An excellent stay for value"

Ibis stay in a comfortable bed, plenty of room. Staff helpful whenever needed, in our case a cot up and ready in the room - and an offer if there were any difficulties with it to just get in touch and they would sort.Good value and well maintained hotel.Couldn't really ask for much more at their reasonable prices.TV and breakfast etc all seem good value although cant comment on quality there as did not use.View management response »

I stayed two nights at the hotel, although a little way out of town the hotel and staff were excellent with the exception of the Sunday night security guard who was pig ignorant. The drink prices were far below what you would normally expect to pay in a hotel and cheaper than my local pub. The food was also very good and available 24 hours. My only criticism would be the size of the breakfast plates, however the breakfast buffet was plentiful and very nice.View management response »

Stayed here three times in 10 days Really clean in all areas Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast plenty of choice and as much as you can eat. New toppers on beds make for a great sleep. Would always stay on level 3 as better lighting in roomsView management response »

"Don't stay here"

What an awful nights sleep. We had a room next to a maintenance room which had a boiler of some sort in it which kept starting up every 10 mins and was very noisy. I reported this to reception twice but they seem to stop it for 30 mins and then it would start back up. The breakfast was very poor £22.50 for 2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 7. The scrambled egg was not cooked, cheap hard beans so we ended up with a bowl of cereal each. £22.50 for 4 bowls of cereal is a bit expensive. Premier Inn all the way next time, unfortunately they were fully booked this time so ended up at this IBIS it won't happen again.View management response »

as usual the service was excellent & the new beds amazing quality for a budget hotel-highly recommended! my only niggle was the quality of the teabags. i would have preferred a stronger,branded make but this was just my personal taste.View management response »
