I stay in hotels over 100 nights per year. I visit the area frequently from the U S to see family but this was my first and last stay at this hotel. My room was the worst I have encountered in over 20 years and was really a dump. Shame on Ibis and Accor. Other ibis hotels in the region are good. Just close this down and refurbish and you will be good moving forward as in a good location.

Please can you pass this feedback onto Tara at your Rotherham property. She was one of the friendliest and most welcoming people I have ever encountered when checking into a hotel. She even went as far as to recognise that I was a female travelling on my own, and made a point of not saying my room number out loud. This might only sound like a minor serial, but it’s the first time anyone has ever done this, and it’s these little things that make a big difference. The room was great - clean and spacious, however the reason I would return to your property is because of the staff. Tara in particular (as mentioned) but all staff members were lovely and they’re a real credit to your business.
