Helpful friendly staff and convenient location for a stroll into town. Comfortable nights sleep for me although the bed may be too hard for some and the sound of the traffic is loud. We booked last minute and had the last room. It was spacious and clean but I can see why it was the last room as the bathroom smelled strongly of blocked drains/sewage.

If you need a comfy, clean place to stay in the town centre, with free parking and easy access then the ibis is for you. I’ve stayed a couple of times, and cannot recommend enough

This was our second visit to the Ibis , spacious warm rooms , spotlessly clean bathrooms and lovely comfy beds, will definitely be staying again on our next visit to Chesterfield.

Had to change room as there was a very strong smell of sewage, Reception staff relocated us straight away, and gave us a complimentary drink which was appreciated. Menu could do with an offer of dessert but the food we had was very nice, the breakfast unfortunately was cold:(

Great stay. Reception staff fantastic, room clean, bed very comfortable well maintained and great clean bathroom with good pressure. Breakfast also excellent with plenty of choice.
