Needed a place to stay to break a long journey. Just needed somewhere clean and comfortable with a good convenient location. Ticked all the boxes. Minor detail was tussling with the doors carrying two heavy bags which I couldn’t leave 8n the car over night but otherwise, it was just the ticket for what I needed.

The accommodation was not sumptuous, but more than adequate for the price. The staff were absolutely excellent – welcoming and helpful throughout. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. Sugary canned fruit leaves something to be desired. It would also have been nice if the bacon etc had been more efficiently monitored and replenished when necessary.
