When we arrived, it turned out that the room booked for us was gone, so we had to pay for more expensive rooms. They also overcharged us for some things (can't remember what they were), but they did agree to refund the difference after we complained. Breakfast was sloppy bacon and dry scrambled egg. Apart from its location (easy to find if you're driving), this hotel isn't very good.

The staff are great, good (with some noise) location off the E40 but, THE ROOMS ARE WAY TOO HOT The aircon is of no practical use, had to leave the window open all night, which meant with smokers outside more noise and smoke coming in :-(, and traffic noise, then guests departing early keeping me awake, in October this was ridiculous!!! It's a good hotel, in an ideal location for Aalst or Affligem or staging on the E40 but I'm looking for an alternative for next years convention :-(
First room given stank of smoking.Second was fine but a little dusty.Signs of smoking but no smell.Room size was good.Bathroom clean.Breakfast very nice and filling-hot or cold offered.Kept waiting for ages to order a coffee at the bar. Website says free parking but is paid for secure underground parking,which nobody used.We parked outside the front of the hotel,which is open to the public.Apart from the smoky room and lax bar service,a god stay was had.

Staff is demotivated, management invisible. Check-in is taking long, because the hotel does not trust even frequent customers. Checkout takes long, invoices cannot be printed in advance, contain mistakes and no totals. Complaints are ignored. Place also rents meeting spaces, but there is no personnel to manage this, so equipment & service are not there when you need it.

All went accordinly to what I expected from front desk to the room all was in order the confort of silence even with the hotel filled with tour bus Breakfast was OK simple but good the price knowing that all the hotel were filled around due to a concert was very appriciated

This Ibis is a tidy Hotel with friendly staff that were very helpful. The Hotel is a few kilometres (2km) from the centre of town, yet easy access to the main motorways, not good if you don't have a car. There are a couple of places to eat within walking distance. Rooms were clean and reasonable size for Ibis.

Used hotel as an overnight stop over on the way north from Austria. The hotel conformed to the great IBIS brand. Greeted by friendly and helpful staff. On a main road the hotel car park was difficult to find and it was problematic to stop on the road. Better signage would help or perhaps advice on the web site.

We spent a fabulous weekend at Aalst Ibis the staff were all very accommodating and knowledgeable about restaurants places of interest trains and taxis We were particularly impressed with the bar and restaurant staff who went out of their way especially when the hotel was busy
First time at this hotel. Good location and secure parking available - although at an additional cost. This hotel has the usual standard of food and drink you would expect with an IBIS. The hotel itself is a little tired and needs updating - particularly carpets, room decor, equipment etc.. also an unpleasent smell in corridors on both days ? I would also prefer some of the basic english tv channels available at other Accor hotels in Europe. Overall it did its job !

We considered this hotel easy to find and handy for Aalst centre a five minute drive away, although parking in Aalst on Saturday market day is difficult. One night we ate in the hotel as it was late the food was adequate and reasonably priced. The bedroom was good size quiet and relaxing and the bed very comfortable, we were on the second floor. When we arrived I showered about 7.30pm and could only get coolish water, but my husband showered after and the water was warm. The breakfast at 14 euros per person I thought was over priced although it was all you could eat, but you can only eat so much for breakfast. If you need secure parking there is some underground at 9 euros per day, we have a 4x4 and it was a bit tight on corners and rather low. But there is parking at the front of the hotel for free. Good pub serving local meals nearby; 10 minute walk away The Fox good meals at reasonable prices.

The hotel was as I expected it to be, with only a limited service available on a Saturday evening, however it was clean and the service was acceptable. The one real negative was I was charge for my room twice , once when I checked out and once again later in the day. This has caused me some issues as I am struggling to get the extra charge refunded.
