ibis Lisboa Liberdade: 3.0 out of 5 stars "One night in Lisbon"

30th January 2013, fed_curlew, Leeds, United Kingdom

The hotel staff spoke English which was a great help for someone who has not been to Portugal previously; the room was comfortable without being lavish and the bed was very comfy too. Breakfast was limited for me as I need a wheat-free diet, so an option of rye crackers would have been good. Overall it was fine for one night but not somewhere I would choose to stay for a longer period in Lisbon.

ibis Lisboa Liberdade: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Great Hotel for the Price"

20th July 2012, BirminghamRugbyFan, Birmingham

A little out of the centre, not ideal for the infirm or disabled on a very steep incline. Clean quiet and great value, staff were outstanding and helpful. Did not eat or drink at hotel so cannot comment

ibis Lisboa Liberdade: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Excellent hotel in its price range in terrific location"

18th July 2012, Bangkok, Thailand

When you stay at Ibis Hotels you don't expect luxury but you can always expect cleanliness, affordability, and comfort, and the Ibis Lisboa Liberdade provides all of that PLUS a great central location. Unlike other Ibis' that I've stayed in this one did not have a safe nor a mini-fridge which would both have been appreciated but they were small inconveniences to bear for the value-for-money. I would stay there again and would recommend it to anyone else traveling to Lisbon who wants to keep their accomodation costs down.

ibis Lisboa Liberdade: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Very good location"

7th July 2012

Excellent location within easy walking distance of the center of the city and the tourist attractions. Hotel very clean, breakfast good value but the same every day. The rooms are small but functional. we found the staff to be very helpfull and all of them spoke good english. Small super market close by for water etc. Would highly recommend this hotel for a short stay in this diverse and interesting city.

ibis Lisboa Liberdade: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Nice hotel"

28th June 2012, Perth, Australia

Good hotel, small but clean rooms & bathrooms. Good breakfast, worth the six euro. Staff very helpful & friendly. Only thing, a bit of a walk to town and as in the business district very few restaurants around. Still very good value for money.

ibis Lisboa Liberdade: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Lisbon Ibis"

15th June 2012, cxvd, Porto, Portugal

Hotel well placed. Service good. Rooms comfortable and clean and plenty of hot water.A very pleasant stay.

ibis Lisboa Liberdade: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Great place close to town"

17th May 2012, Weybridge, United Kingdom

Ibis hotels are alway great places and value for money. Ibis Lisboa Liberdade is close enough to town to be out of central city noise but just 10 minute quick walk to the centre - close to all the main areas. Close to bus route and plenty of Taxi's about if required. Very good staff and a very pleasant place to stay. Will be staying here next trip.

ibis Lisboa Liberdade: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Liberdade"

10th April 2012, DocNewYork, New York

Fairly well located, but not "the center" if you are there as a tourist. Rooms are small, nothing special. good beds though. Subway closeby. We found garage parking expensive at 13 euros a day (other ibis locations charge about 6-7 euros in portugal)All ibis locations in portugal charged for wifi in the rooms (its free in the lobby area).. found this rather strange.

ibis Lisboa Liberdade: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Visit Lisbon"

10th April 2012, jimtheswordsman, Totnes, United Kingdom

I find the hotel ideally placed in Lisbon with a good selection of restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Easy access to the Metro. The only negative aspect of my stay and this has nothing to with the hotel, is that twice within2 days there were attempts made to steal from my backpack.

ibis Lisboa Liberdade: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Small and Friendly"

5th April 2012, Harrogate, United Kingdom

Great location just of the main avenue in the financial district with access to public transport only 5mins walk away. Small and friendly, nice buffet style breakfast, clean and tidy rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. Will definately be staying there again when we visit Lisbon again.

ibis Lisboa Liberdade: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Easy walking distance to Castle and sea"

11th March 2012, RandyKasal, Iowa

Staff was friendly and helpful. I've been to 54 countries now and used Accor Hotels to Sofitel in nearly 20 countries. They (Accor) always in each country find good talent. A business case study should be done on their hiring and training process. Desk people often have multiple roles.Breakfast was limited would be a minor complaint. Needs more protein to start the day. A major complaint would be the coffee. Worst I've ever tasted on two days. They were constructing a new bar when I was there. Food service options may increase. It is a small hotel but big on service.

ibis Lisboa Liberdade: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Good, inexpensive accommodation"

30th January 2012, Adelaide, Australia

The best way to some up the Ibis Lisboa Liberdade is that it is a practical, no-frills hotel but it was comfortable and the staff, when needed, were very helpful. The hotel is situated in the business area of the city but is near to three metro stations and in all honesty a very easy walk to the centre of town (I should add coming back it is a bit of a walk up-hill!). It was fine for what we needed, in terms of a day trip to Sintra and getting to see as much of Lisbon as possible.Being an Ibis hotel we knew that we wouldn't get all the "little extras" you may get with other hotels, but the room was a good size and it was comfortable.
