Excellent serviced-mind from Reception (Alexander) and great travel guides provided in the room. Convenient to travel by tramp and there are good restaurants and supermarkets nearby the hotel. We also able to ask for extra pillows with free of charge. Good quality breakfast.

This is the sixth or seventh time we have been here. The hotel staff is very friendly and always will to help. The hotel itself has been recently renovated, and the rooms are very spacious, comfortable and clean. If you get a room on the Pilatus mountain side you can spend hours just looking at the mountain top ! It is very easy to walk from the hotel to the Pilatus Bahn cable car (20 minute walk) though the beautiful suburb of Kriens. It's also very easy and quick to get to Lucerne via the DZB (Die Zentral Bahn) trains - the station is 5 minutes from the hotel - walking. There are nice restaurants all around the hotel and the Pilatus Markt shopping mall is also in walking distance from it (15 minutes away).
Dear pcociuba, Thank you very much for sharing your very positive experience with us. We are very proud of your satisfaction with our rooms as well as our staff. We would be very happy to welcome you very soon in our establishment. S. Samil Benli - General Manager
Good hotel, with a big room, a delicious breakfast, in a beautiful spot, close to Pilatus. Unfortunately, they don't have rooms with separate beds with a view as they do for couple beds. I suggest they provide that for whose guests are not a couple. I would love to have a view to Pilatus.
Dear Ana Christina S, We appreciate for staying in our hotel and for sharing your positive experience with us. We will be very happy for your next visit in a room with view of the Mount Pilatus. S. Samil Benli - General Manager
The "green" concept of providing rooms in summer without air conditioning in summer is a total failure. We came from Chur where we were offered a small noisy fan at that Ibis, this one could not even offer us a fan, so it was like an oven. Opening windows did not help for a good sleep, as the traffic noise kept us awake and very aware of the summer heat. The room was spacious though, helping a little with over-all comfort.
Thank you very much for your feedback, which will help us to improve the quality of our hotel facilities. Please be sure, that we will install air condition as soon as possible to make your hopefully future stay more pleasant as this one. S. Samil Benli - General Manager
We had a bit of an issue finding the hotel, as there was no way of knowing which side of the station it was located on. People around did not seem to know about it. It is located at a distance of about 10 minutes walking, and if you have a lot of luggage and it is raining, the walk can be a bit of a bother, to put it mildly. However, finally, it is located pretty nicely. Check-in was easy, and the super-well-trained Ibis reception staff always lives up to its awesome reputation as warm and friendly. We were assigned a room on the third floor. The room was quite large, even by the European Ibis standards, and that was a pleasant thing to note. Beds were good and the bath cum toilet was also very spacious. There was also a complimentary discount coupons booklet for our use next to the TV. Overall, an excellent room. The only catch was that there is no air-conditioning. It didn't matter to us as we were staying when the weather was rather cool. But I do not know what happens in summer. The other small but insignificant bother was that the telephone in the room was dead for all 3 days that we stayed in. We reminded them every morning when we went down, but it got corrected only on the last evening. Not something that mattered to us, as we didn't use it, but is a tiny blot on the usual Ibis super-efficient service. A walk down the road takes us to the McCafe and beyond that is the Mattenhof station, from where one can reach Lucerne in 5-7 minutes. Really convenient. There is an eating place a short distance away, but when Lucerne is so close, most things didn't matter :)
We very much appreciate your comments regarding your stay at the Ibis Luzern-Kriens. I am sure that this feedback will serve as an encouragement to all of our staff as we strive to continuously improve the quality of our services. Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope your next visit will be as pleasant as the previous one.
Although out of the city centre, it's a very short and convenient train ride to the heart of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room spacious, modern, and equipped with everything we needed. Comfortable bed and nice shower.

Very good location but the price overall at Switzerland is too expensive. Near several points as market, pharmacy and bus station. Wireless internet is fast and free. Parking lot is not free, but you have option besides the hotel.

We very much appreciate your positive comments which will give us courage to increase the quality of our service. We are looking forward to welcome you again at the nearest future at the Hotel Ibis Luzern-Kriens.
Great hotel almost beside the highway with a (camera) guarded garage In the direct surroundings several opportunities to eat. Quiet area where it is good to sleep. In the early morning through the tunnel without a traffic jam.
When arriving there is some problems with parking (not very clear where to park and also just a few parking places (nobody at the desk did ask me if I would need a parking place (I did find out the next day that there was also a parking garage this should be mentionde when checking in). Very friendly staff (emplyees) only the manager (chefin) is not so friendly theire fore the low value on service.
A bit difficult to find if you don´t have a GPS. Tthe hotel itself was good. The room was large and comfortable. There was a big reduction on the parking costs per night. There is a supermarket in the parking lot what can help a lot.
The reception is very warm and clean. staff are helpful. The breakfast is very good and service also welcoming. the rooms are clean and comfortable. The price is very reasonable and you can be in the city with in 10 minutes by train, bus or car. If you book on a weekend the rooms could be noisy as there is a night club in the building or nearby. But overall a good hotel for a short stay.
Thank you very much for sharing your feedback with us. It's always a pleasure for us to read that you've enjoyed your stay. I am also happy to inform you that the discotheque nearby hotel has been moved already. We are looking to welcome you soon again at the hotel ibis Luzern-Kriens.
Bad experience from the outset. Poor signage to the (expensive) parking, then from there to the hotel. Unenthusiastic reception staff at both arrival and departure. Metal shutters on window, no access to natural light, or if there was, it wasn't obvious. Poor for Ibis standards
Dear Jontee, thank you for your comment. In the rooms are electrtical blender. This you can open directly in your room and than you have natural light. The parking is signed and also from the parking to the hotel entrance are every where sign.
Location and First Impression was disappointing - surrounded by commercial and domestic buildings. Car parking in public car park but no allocated hotel parking. Entrance not impressive but good lift access to room. No secure entrance to hotel rooms from car park - public lift access and doors permanently open. No comparison to other Ibis hotels we have stayed at in Switzerland. Room was OK but warm with no air conditioning. Opening windows in evening allowed cigarette smoke into room from adjacent areas. Worst experience was very loud music from club/bar in same building on 2 nights at weekend continuing all evening into early hours so preventing any sleep. Sound insulation of building not good as able to hear other guestsmoving around and leaving early in the morning.
Dear Michael M, thank you for your comment through tripadvisor. During the night is elevator for the parking is closed and no one can come form the parking to the rooms. Also the mean entrance is closed. In the next month we will make an isolation between the rooms.
This hotel is located out of time but is 5 mins walk from a train station which is 2 stops from the centre of town. Plenty of free parking available and also a Maccy D's within 2 mins so you can grab a cheaper breakfast as well! Having stayed in 2 other Accor hotels on the same European trip, was disappointing that the hotel didn't provide a free travel card (as at Lausanne and Chamonix). The city is very picture postcard and as per the rest of Switzerland is very expensive. But once you forget the price you'll have a great time!
