"Could be closer to the airport"

Excellent hotel to stay at and the staff are very helpful. The only down side is it is not at Zurich airport but a free bus shuttle to fit in with your travels. The bus was always on time and the the drivers were helpful especially with our luggage.

a really good way of transiting through Zurich without having to travel into the centre of the city. Take the free shuttle bus to the Ibis Messe after a late flight and return the following morning ready to fly again or (like us) take a train to a destination within Switzerland. Workedlike a dream and we were so refreshed after our stay at the confortaboe Ibis. Cheaper also than the city centre hotels.

Great value for money. Very clean. 5 - 10 minute walk for tram 10 or 11 to Central Zurich.Free Airport Shuttle and proximity to Airport another benefit. Staff very obliging and helpful.

+ Good hotel with nice bistro. Nice food but limited choices/menu.- Paid parking and limited space. No alternatives in neighbourhood.

Convenient with free airport shuttle bus and efficient driver. Check- in register take so long time, registration officer having less skill. Bed, pillow and bathroom was excellent. Breakfast just ok.

I had to stay overnight to wait for a connecting flight the next morning. Clean, convenient, excellent price/service ratio and with very helpful staff. Free shuttle bus and WLAN. Would recommend any time.

Stayed overnight before catching a flight to west coast USA. Outstanding hotel. Be sure and request a room in the 'new' Formula 1 section and on the back side. I got a deal for USD 76 and had a perfect new room totally quiet. This is about my 6-7 time staying here. Free shuttle from ZRH. Nice small restaurant. I love this place!!!

I am A club member. Hotel is convenient though little away than expected.. Bus service is good. Staff is very friendly . Over all service is excellent. But a small suggestion: in additon the Ibis group should provide the tea maker so at least we can have hot water to drink in winter season or a thermos of hot water.

A good hotel as you would expect from the Ibis brand. Only thing is that the location is not at the airport but around 5 kilometers away with a lot of trafficlights enroute. I would recommend about 15-20 minutes to travel to/from the airport. Stayed there 2 nights with some business to do at the airport. Quality of the room was perfect, special wishes mailed in advanced were taken into account without any problem.Breakfast was of good quality.On the downside, the free wifi internet was terrible slow and parking at the hotel is not free.
"Close enough to public transport"

This chain hotel was about 5 minutes walk to the nearest tram stop and then another 15-20 minutes into the city. Staff tried really hard to accommodate our requests for information and deliver on their group's promises. We felt the bar snacks which were available 24/7 were a better tasting and better priced option that the buffet breakfast. Free shuttle to and from the airport was a useful option. Make sure that you check the timetable beforehand so that you have plenty of time to get through international at the Flughafen.

Otherwise, there are better options downtown. Reception was extremely slow and failed to call in more staff when there were at least 10 people waiting to check in. It took them more than 30 minutes to check us in. Even though we had booked in advance, they had none of our personal details and made us rewrite the whole form again, very annoying after a 30-minute wait...

It was our last day in Switzerland before departing back to the U.S. We had seen everything we wanted to see and we needed accomodations that were in proximity to the airport. The place was very clean and offered wi-fi (only on the first floor/lobby) and the rooms were spotless and cozy. We walked to the hotel from the Oerlikon train stop in Zurich, which took around 10 minutes. While it wasn't the shortest walk, it was located in a nice, clean, business district. Even better was the free shuttle that runs daily which we took very early in the morning. And given how expensive Switzerland can be to international travelers, this hotel was comparably affordable.

All was OK except for the Desk Service. On check-in I was misinformed on questions I specifically asked.I was given info I didn't ask for or need. I was also given the wrong times for the Shuttle Bus pick ups at the hotel to take me to the airport the next morning. I was not informed about breakfast nor the restaurant.The Service Desk staff were not interested nor very friendly. Disappointed.

If you need stay close to the airport at reasonable price, this hotel it may suit your favor. Take a note, close does not mean within walking distance but easily you can buy day pass; take tram No 10 or 12; stop at Glattpark and change to looping bus to Riedbach. Anyway, it is very convenience by every 15 minutes for regular bus. Hotel is good except free Wi-Fi only working at the lobby. You can connect Wi-Fi from room by credit card or any acceptable option but not free. Breakfast is good and overall price (+breakfast) is very reasonable.

i appreciate a lot the friendly welcome from the staff but i would suggest to improve the wifi connection for the rooms where is almost impossible to connect, even if it could means i have to pay an extra.but it remains a valid alternative to the high cost of zurich hotels
"Pleasant location"

Decided to cancel another hotel in Zurich due to the current poor exchance rate from £ to CHF. And Ibis had 30% discount for a 3 night stay. Location is good. Only 3 stops on the 781 bus (about 5 minutes) from Zurich Oerlikon station. Lovely weather helped too.Typical Ibis hotel. Has a restaurant but not sampled. And being an Accor card holder I also got a free drink. Cheers.
"Ibis the best for Solo travellers"

This hotel is a right choice for people who want to stay close to Zurich city on a reasonable price. Eventhough this hotel is located near airport the travel to city (just 15 to 20 minutes journey) and other locations is not a problem, one can utilize the free shuttle service to airport and can take train to commute to any location and similarily you can plan your travel back to hotel, provided you have to stick to timings of shuttle service as they are very punctual. Other option is tram service which accessible with 5 minutes walks from the hotel and really you will enjoy the walk as well as travel by tram.Generally people in Zurich are very helpful and soft and anyone you can approach for help. I am pretty happy with all the services offered at the hotel, only suggestion I have is please provide drinking water in the room. Overall staff are well behaved. The room size is small and if two people (other than couples) stay together they might feel slight discomfort with the space. I really enjoyed my stay at Ibis Airport Messe, Zurich.

It was the badest IBIS Hotele I ever was!! It was so ugly, loud and unfriendly personal!!!! I never go there again!!!The room was over the delevery zone, and it smells bad in the room, the personal was so unfriendly and the bus driver too!!!
