"Good choice of Hotel for Bordeaux visit"

Easy access by car to the hotel from the autoroute / ring road. Secure underground parking. Welcoming staff with ready smiles, always helpful. From the hotel to the city centre a bus stop close by, a 10 minute walk to the tram stop or a 30 minute walk (we enjoyed the latter option, twice each day).

I am not one to write a review unless it is, in my humble opinion, warranted. We arrive quite late on Friday evening, to be met by a lovely gentleman behind the desk who, when asked advised where there may be some places left open to eat. (It was after 11pm!) He also advised that if we had no luck we should come see him..We tried no luck and when we returned he prepared a platter of food for us! He was equally helpful the following evening when we had other questions. The hotel doesn’t seem much at reception but the rooms are excellent, (like most could do with more then BCC world news as English station) however the stay was made for us by the courteousness of the night desk clerk.
