Outstanding hotel near Bordeaux-Merignac airport

Three of us arrived in Bordeaux after connecting flights from the U.S. via Paris. We had reservations for one night at the Hotel Mercure. After collecting our luggage we called the Mercure and were picked up 10 minutes later for the 3-minute drive to the hotel. Our rooms were clean, with appreciated features such as separate toilet rooms, terrific showers, and windows that open. The beds were comfortable, and the hotel was quiet. At the onsite Le Spirit restaurant we had a delicious dinner (grilled salmon for two of us and the buffet for the third). In the morning we all enjoyed the variety and quality of the breakfast buffet and beverages. The front-desk and restaurant staff members were all personable, efficient, and helpful. The Hotel Mercure was exactly what we wanted.

Booking our room was easy. We really like having secure parking! The front desk staff are friendly. Our room was perfect! Clean, quiet , comfortable and had everything we needed. Our dinners were extremely tasty! Salmon for me and duck for my partner.

Stayed here many times but just a few little niggles . Only 1 bottle of water provided for 2people. No proper cups to make hot drinks just flimsy paper cups.I No normal tea or milk provided in rooms. Boiled egg machine was lost so had to fry my own eggs. Beds too hard for comfort. Poor choice in restaurant for non meat eaters.

Nice hotel ,well situated. Air con ineffective/not working in our room. Loo needs replacing. Excellent bar and restaurant!! Excellent menu Bar /restaurant manager AMAZING!!! busy busy everywhere eyes on everything. Serving drinks outside then supervising restaurant and really hands on. He should be promoted!!!
