"Ibis Leuven"

Great hotel in a nice area, clean and smart, nice rooms - all looked new or newly refurbished , Felt breakfast.was expensive at Eur14 for what was on offer.
"Good Hotel in the city center"
18th May 2012, amandamalves, Paris, France
10 minutes walking from the train station. Near of restaurants and all kind of stores. Very well located. Good service, clean accomodations. It was nice. The rooms are very small, but it was OK.
"A smelly bathroom."
27th April 2012, openwallet, West Sussex.
We were in a room with a very smelly bathroom, I did report this to reception on the first morning but it didn't get attended to, it smelt like a blocked drain, the shower tray was slow to drain so maybe this was the cause of the problem, the hotel has since said that they are getting it sorted so hopefully it was a one off. Breakfast was expensive, 14 Euros each and it was just a continetal buffet, parking at the hotel although secure was 16 Euros a night, I thought that was a bit dear too, other than that it was very good, nice and central with a supermarket next to it open from 8 until 8 every day for the bits you may need, all in all it was o.k. apart from what I have mentioned, we would use that Ibis again for another stay.
"Good reliable hotel in the center"
15th April 2012, leistbares, Leuven, Belgium
Good location in the center, even parking available. Clean and good service. Compared to IBIS Hotels in other countries it´s a bit expensive though.
"Ibis Leuven in Sep 2011"
20th September 2011, Cologne, Germany
Located in the historic city of Leuven, the ibis fulfilled the expectations I had. The rooms are not exactly what one would describe as luxurious, but fairly sufficient for spending some nights in them. Breakfast (rated at 14€/day) is fairly expensive, so I chose not to have it in the hotel, but went to one of the many cafes and bakerys in the imminent vicinity.
"No Hot Water..."
8th September 2011, Mesa, Arizona, USA
This was my second trip to Leuven for business, my last trip was for 2 weeks and stayed in the Mercure Leuven Centrum hotel. I could not stay there this time but with my A-Club card I thought I would stay in the same family and expected the same level of comfort and quality. I'll have to say I was a bit disappointed in the room, it was very small for the same cost as the room in the Mercure, very little room to hang or store my clothing, no in-room safe, and no desk or chair to sit at to attend evening meetings. The worst part was I did not have a hot shower all week which I find very disappointing. Perhaps I chhose the wrong level of accomodation, maybe I meeded to select a different level of room but I am forced to keep costs to a minimum. In all, the staff was wonderful, the room was kept very clean, the breakfast was good, the location relative to my favorite cafe' in the Olde Market was terrific. I don't want to seem as if I was totally disappointed, but perhaps I was just comparing it to the Mercure and they aren't the same class of hotel even though they are in the same family. I would recommend this hotel, with the caveat that the hot water doesn't work in the shower. Please fix that and I wil return.
"Good value for money"
11th August 2011, London
The staff quality is superb, they were helpful and welcoming. The location is very good being very close to the city centre. However, rooms seemed a bit worn out. The only problem I had was a noise coming from the corridor in the mornings. Finally, another minor problem was the size of the TV screen, which seemed a bit small. Otherwise, I would recommend Ibis in Leuven.
"One Night in Leuven"
21st July 2011, Cardiff
This was a top-of-the-range Ibis which was conveniently slap-bang in the middle of the town! Bar and restaurants were only minutes away. The room was nice and comfortable with a TV. The staff were very friendly and helpfulf. There is a computer in the foyer that allows free 15 minute sessions of internet access which can be handy. The car park is next door and is secure. It does cost an extra €12 per day, which is probably cheaper than street parking for the equivalent time.
"Rock Werchter"
5th July 2011, Gent
I booked this hotel to avoid long traffic lines and full parking at Rock Werchter festival. The hotel is ideal to combine downtown Leuven with Rock Festival. It's only a 15 minutes walk to the train and busstation.Rooms are small and basic but good price/quality for the downtown location.
"The Bet for a Solo"
6th May 2011
The location in Leuven is exceptionalt; within walking distance to everything. The room was perfect for one person; two people can make it work. Bathroom was spotless, and clean every night; ( just bring some shanpoo, as that was not in the room, unless you like the showerwall soap, which wasn't bad.) Bed suited my needs, and was big enough for two. The extra pillow and cover was nice too! Downstair's restaurant for breakfast, or a late night drink was all one needs to wake up, eat: come in late and want a late night grog. During my stay, the late night fellow behind the counter was super. Highly recommend!
"Good hotel on the road"

"small rooms and expensive but good position in the city centre"
8th December 2010, Italy
Rooms small, buffet expensive and of mid-low quality but still good standards quality of Ibis chain and excellent position in the city centre.
"godd position, poor price/quality"
25th November 2010, Milano, Italy
Room very noisy, it was built reusing the corner where it was placed the emergency exit!Breakfast not very appealing for the price suggested. I decided to move outside. WIFI expensive
