Mercure Hotel Amsterdam Airport: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Dissapointment"

26th April 2012, İstanbul

Good Parking facility, frendly stuff, small and moderate rooms, expensive regarding to its quality. Very good sleep quality.

Mercure Hotel Amsterdam Airport: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Nice place to start a trip"

3rd September 2011, Buffalo NY

If you have an early flight out of Schiphol, this hotel is great for a relaxing relaxing start. The room is very nice and quiet, though I prefer a double bed instead of 2 single beds next to each other. The park and sleep option is excellent too. It's well worth the money.

Mercure Hotel Amsterdam Airport: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Cost effective quality hotel"

3rd September 2011, Girvan, United Kingdom

Convenient and cost effective. Not a new hotel but well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and a speedy check in and out. The free shuttle to the airport (and train station) is great except for one driver who got to 140km/hr.........

Mercure Hotel Amsterdam Airport: 3.0 out of 5 stars "never ever..."

22nd July 2011, Budapest

hotel policy: deposit or credit card as deposit for 40 euros. I did not want to give my card or cash as the room was prepaid and I never use anything else in a hotel (minibar, pay tv). But the girl at the desk told me: this is hotel policy. Finally I gave her my card with not too much money on it (cca. 80 euros). She told me they will not charge my card. Then I got more sms on my mobile, that they tried to charge my card more times. And with more than 40 euros. This is a shame. I stayed at many hotels in the world but this is unacceptable...The hotel is not bad but for sure not a 4 star hotel... The only good things were the free parking during the weekend and the bus from the hotel direct to the center. and the free wifi...But never ever again...

Mercure Hotel Amsterdam Airport: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Out of Amsterdam and comfy"

15th July 2011, Frankfurt am Main

We stayed here as we were travelling extensively through Europe and wanted to save some money by not staying in Amsterdam. This hotel had a lovely updated gym and was well suited for business travellers. We stayed 5 nights and caught the bus into Amsterdam everyday, which took about 15-20minutes. The hotel is clean but some of the reception staff are a bit rude. The rooms and bed were or a decent size and comfy. We would recommend this hotel if you don't mind the bus travel into and out of Amsterdam and are looking to save some money.

Mercure Hotel Amsterdam Airport: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Overall a good hotel, but I had some issues"

12th June 2011, Prague

I have stayed in this hotel prior to this trip, and it is not a bad hotel. It's away from the city center, but the free shuttle bus to the airport (with frequent train connections to the centre) make it relatively easy to go to and from the city center. During this stay, i had paid for breakfast for two days. This is a typical breakfast buffet found at many hotels. I was disappointed that the first day, the scrambled eggs and bacon trays were left empty for the duration of the time I was breakfast. Breads and cheeses were plentiful, and were constantly re-stocked, but no effort was made to replenish the heavier items during the roughly 45 minutes I spent in the restaurant.Secondly, I became ill during my stay (no fault of the hotel) and was interrupted twice by room service despite having a "Do Not Disturb" sign hanging from the door. Finally, they even called into the room to see if they could clean. This blatant disregard for the placard on the door is unacceptable in my view.Overall, I have no serious complaints with this hotel, as these problems may be one-offs which others may not experience when staying at this hotel. So I would recommend this hotel, but I can't rate my most recent visit too highly because of the issues I had.

Mercure Hotel Amsterdam Airport: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Excellent hotel"

11th February 2011, Limelette

I would recommend this hotel not only for stay related to Schiphol flights but also for stay in A'dam. Shuttle to the airport is very convenient and Hotel staffing very kind and welcoming

Mercure Hotel Amsterdam Airport: 2.0 out of 5 stars "Stary in Mercure"

15th November 2010, Mysore

Stay was good. The only issue was lack of ventilation in the room.
