Our restaurant is famous for its inspirational dishes in the grand Venetian tradition. It is not only the ideal setting for banquets, working lunches and wedding receptions, but is also perfect for a romantic dinner.
With a warm, welcoming atmosphere, the Salotto Veneziano Café-Bar is the setting for the most exciting cultural meetings in the city. It offers a travel-inspired library and a space dedicated to comic book character Corto Maltese, with cocktail tribute.

Conveniently located within a short walk to the train and bus stations next to a green park oasis and canal. Water taxi and gondola only meters away. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Although part of the hotel was under renovation, the already renovated portion, which included our room was quiet, spacious and luxuriously appointed in classic Venetian style. Will definitely stay there next time in Venice. Highly recommended! Mark from Melbourne, Australia.
We stayed one night pre cruise. The hotel is in the midst of a major renovation project but we were in the hotel area that had been completed, which was superb. We were upgraded to a suite which was simply beautiful, Venetian style cloth covered walls, stylish furniture and, perhaps a little out of place, two very large flat screen TV's, one in the bedroom and one in the lounge. Very, very impressive. We were slightly less impressed with the bathroom which, whilst it had a wonderful large shower, had no shelving, storage or work top for toiletry bags. Also the shower had no shelving on which to stand shampoo etc. Although the main restaurant was closed for renovation their breakfast area had been renovated and was excellent, as was the breakfast offering. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful advising on a restaurant, arranging transport to our cruise ship etc. If and when we return to Venice we would be happy to return to this hotel.
We loved the location - and had a great view from our room. However, the room was very dated, with broken tiles in the bathroom, and in need of some updates. Not what I would expect for a four star hotel. The hairdryer was broken, and they just kept sending people to look at it and never made an attempt to fix or replace it (one of the ones attached to the wall). They also do not have a dedicated concierge -and the front desk staff provide both services. They are good at being front desk staff, but they are completely unhelpful with recommendations for restaurants, and where to find things - and seem annoyed when asked.
Just one bridge away from the Venice transport hub the Papadopoli is in an ideal location. We arrived very early but were checked in and our bags held while we went out to explore Venice. When we got back later in the day our room was ready and our bags already in the room. Beautiful is a good word to explain this hotel; the room was large, by European standards, elegant, immaculately clean and had a very comfortable bed. Modern bathroom with big fluffy towels and bathrobes - wonderful. Breakfast was served in the garden setting style restaurant and although mainly of the cold continental style there were enough cooked offerings to satisfy the bacon and eggs addict. We used both the bar, (the lady bar tender mixes a mean cocktail), and the restaurant for an evening meal. To be honest we did not enjoy the evening meal, the atmosphere a little to formal for out tastes. All in all we enjoyed this hotel, good service, and great location. We recommend this hotel .
This hotel is very well-located at 2 mn (walking !) from Piazzale Roma: no need to queue for vaporreto's tickets, then to be lost in narrow streets to find your hotel. A little bit old but clean and quiet ! Rooms are small but comfortable, except a noisy and ineffective AC system. Quite expensive, but nothing to compare with other hotels from this range in Venezia. Nice surroundings.
Victim of assault in Venice , hotel ignore the situation and did not provide any help support or assistance , one day without food and water , waiting support from visa , staff from reception were very cold and indeference with the problem
Dear Guest, first of all let me thank you for choosing our Hotel during your recent stay in Venice; also for taking the time to share your opinion. By doing this you give us the opportunity to improve our service. Be assured that I give much importance to it. I may understand that being a victim of a “pickpocket” in a public transport is certainly an unpleasant situation who completely ruined your visit in Venice. I am very sorry for that, it’s not what a tourist do expect from a vacation. What it sounds a bit strange to me is that being in a hotel who provides in room minibar, drinks, food and restaurant (bottle of water as well) I’m frankly surprised you’ve been left without those for one day. After investigating with the involved staff, they told me that they exactly suggested what to do in a way to solve the money problem in a short time. Please accept my personal apologizes for not having been able to satisfy all your expectations and hope to have a future chance to welcome you back in Venice with a more favorable occasion. Kind regards
My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 1 night. We took the night train and arrived at 9am in Venice and we managed to check in early in the morning. The hotel is near to but 2 bridges away from the train station. The bigger bridge is difficult to climb with luggages because of steps, while the smaller bridge is easier with slopes. Because it was our honeymoon, the hotel upgraded our room to a view overlooking the Tolentini canal. The hotel also gave us strawberries and wine. You won't see the Grand Canal from the room, but the view is equally excellent with the Tolentini canal. The balcony is large and you can sit there long enough before pigeons fly into the balcony and if the weather is cool. The service was decent, staff was attentive throughout the breakfast. Breakfast selection can be slightly improved though with some international options, like hashbrowns. Location was good since it was near the train station, and within 15-20 minutes walking distance (if you do not get lost in the streets) or vaporetto to the main attractions. Overall, the stay was comfortable and memorable.
