"A hidden gem with great views of the cathedral.."
22nd May 2012, sesnault, Phoenix, Arizona, USA
This hotel is very clean and very comfortable, once you find it. Even with a GPS, it took us 3 attempts before we were able to get there (and only because we asked a local to help us find it). However, once there, you're right in the center of Rouen, with easy access to everything (Gros Horloge, cathedral, churches, etc...) Be aware that the underground garage will give drivers not used to european parking garages a heart attack, but at least it provides parking. =)The staff was very accommodating, the hotel rooms clean and well kept. Would return without hesitation.
"Not grown up enough"
24th September 2011, Solihull
Typical Mercure hotel with excellent location and parking. Big negative is that despite being pensioners and having driven there, Accor Hotels have decided for our protection to lock the windows and turn off the aircon to save money (sorry save the planet). I think we have reached a stage in our lives where we are sufficiently grown up to open a window without falling out of it. A stuffy overheated bedroom is intolerable, and we will have to find somewhere else next time. A shame.
"Family trip"

Perfect location for sightseeing in Rouen. Car park fine so long as your car is under 1.85m, very narrow for 4x4, but possible! Saturday night quite noisy but to be expected in the town centre, cathedral bells frequently heard. Wonderful breakfast and reception service but no room service at weekends or festivals, however plenty of eating establishments around the area.Would book again without question.
"Good choice"

This is a good Mercure Hotel in the Center of Rouen, a beautiful historic city in the Normandy. The place is excellent, as well as the service. Nice staff, good breakfast. The only problem I saw was a ugly modern building that is being constructed in front of the cathedral - but it is not a fault of the hotel...
"Stay in Rouen"

we booked 4 family rooms only to arrive there and be told there was only 2 per room - staff completely inflexible had to pay for a further room at €100 totally unreasonable. It is a business hotel and as such fairly standard, all rooms the same. Good for a one night stop over.
"Great Location, rooms need refurb"
13th August 2011, Swansea
The location of the hotel is its best feature. We had the privelidge rooms at a special offer rate through accor - would not have been happy to pay the full rate for this hotel. The rooms are adequate but the air conditioning does not work. Bathrooms are in need of a refurb. Breakfast is expensive but free for children so good for families. Parking was easy, different areas in the car park for big or small cars and hotel was easy to find via GPS.
"Excellent hotel in the middle of town, quiet and stylish"
20th July 2011, Leuven
This hotel offers great value for money. The rooms are spacy and the bathroom is well equipped. There is a minibar and a TV , as well as a cofee cooker. Unfortunately our coffee portion was very limited and only available on our first day. But all in all, it s a minor detail. The parking space in the basement is expensive, but it is worth having your car in a safe place; However, you must be a very good river in order to manoeuver your car into the small parking spaces :-) You might need some help and guidance there.
"Monet Rouen"

Ideally located for exploring the city. Pleasant helpful staff especially at the breakfast buffet which has a reasonable selection of hot and cold options. The 3rd floor rooms had the windows locked for security reasons which made the room stuffy as the aircon system was not very efficient. In warmer weather this could be a problem. Hotel parking is convenient on site in the basement albeit slightly expensive. Not mentioned on the hotel website but there are tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms.
"Fab Rouen hotel"
27th April 2011, LINGY07, GLASGOW
Lovely hotel right in the historic centre of Rouen. It's location meant all the major attractions were within walking distance. Friendly staff, nice, fresh decor and spacious bedrooms. Only drawback was the limited availability of room service.
"Great hotel!"
24th January 2011, Salt Lake City
The Mercure Rouen Centre Cathedrale hotel was excellent from several perspectives; excellent location in the city center, excellent service, excellent breakfast buffet. The desk clerks spoke English well and were very helpful.I recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Rouen for business or sight-seeing.
