Only reason not a 10 was the restaurant was not open on a Saturday night

Effectivement notre restaurant est fermé le vendredi soir ainsi que le week-end, mais un large choix de restaurant dans le centre-ville, à 5 minutes à pied de l’hôtel, vous offre la possibilité de vous restaurer. Nous sommes disponibles pour vous guider dans ce domaine lors de votre arrivée. Good afternoon, We were very disappointed to be told at 21h45 that the bar was closed by the male receptionist, We double checked with reception the next day to be told the bar will be shut at 21h00 as the night receptionist is new and has a lot of paperwork to do. I have run hotels and restaurants all my life and focused on customer service first, paperwork came after. I spent all day with my father suffering from cancer to be told I could not have a drink in the evening was not on when I chose the mercure as you had a bar. Best regards Pascal R.

once again on a saturday night, restaurant closed - and some items on room service unavailable. Finally receptionist refused to sell us drinks as she was too busy she said - we had a drink with the room service.
