"Overnight Stay"

We were very impressed with the hotel in all respects, though the 'sleep quality' was reduced to 'Very Good' because we prefer single beds [wife's disability] & there appeared to be no single-bedded rooms available within the hotel. The staff were friendly & attentive & we were very well fed, seeking only a light supper. Breakfast was just what we would like & were surprised to see a cooked breakfast on offer - very popular with the French breakfast eaters! Though it appears to be a fact of today's life, piped music was ever-present in public areas which was fortunately at a discrete level.Overall, we were very impressed with this quality hotel & the shower room was spacious & clean.

This hotel has a fabulous location, right in the heart of the historical centre of Angouleme, close to shops and bars/restaurants. We enjoyed the classy - modern chic - bedrooms, the nice and helpful staff, and a very good breakfast. Highly recommended!
