Room is clean, Reception is very kind and Breakfast is good and Totally Excellent.However, the Location is not just beside seaside.

Great structure in a fine site. Close to some important locations of the city, it's easy to take a walk on the neighboorhood.

It´s a nice hotel with a good location, and for an ibis not normal, with a nice pool!!! The outside facade may need a lifting but the rooms have been redone. Breakfast is ok and the location is very good. From some rooms you can even see the sea!!Price-Value is ok, even if breakfast is not included..

I had a good accommodation in Ibis Fortaleza.the only bad thing is because the reception of the hotel is under renovation,guests are entering the field of piscina.Mas Ibis Fortaleza possesses an optimal cleaning, clean rooms, air conditioning works well, possesses a very nice location right near the beach Iracema and the most famous Avenida Beira Mar.É an awesome hotel I recommend and I will be fearless in another trip to Fortaleza.

There was a lot of maintenance, main entrance was not usable. They were attending to the clientes in a small ugly room.Sheets were harsh and there was a lot of noise at night

Good price, good basics, great staff. Comfortable room if you don't stay in it too much. It's a bit small and spartan, but the worst thing is the cable system. It's the worst I've seen in any country. Few options, lots of interference and drop-outs. And it gets worse each time I visit. Now, to give the impression of options, they're running identical programs on multiple channels, so if you flick around the dial, you think you're getting a choice of a dozen stations or more, but if you slow down, you'll notice the same shows popping up over and over. The odd thing is that there is good cable available in Fortaleza. I went to a friend's house there who had great cable, and they said it's cheaper than the one the hotel has. I can only think there must bribes or kickbacks involved.They taken the safes out of the rooms, which is disappointing. There's a central safe at reception, but if you want your passport or something, you have to go to reception and find somebody who's not busy (and they're ALWAYS busy) to get your stuff for you.Other than that, staying at Ibis Fortaleza has been a good experience. Just don't bring any valuables, and if it's the rainy season or you have to wait in your room for calls, bring your Kindle!
"Badly in need of a complete renovation"

We have stayed in many Ibis hotels in Europe and Latin America. Always well run, predictable, good value. Brought two friends with us this time and assured them of good value based on our long experience with Ibis and other Accor properties. We were embarrassed by this hotel. And Ibis should be as well. Just plain run-down - in too many ways to be specifically listed. Probably a nice property 10 years ago. But now in need of a major complete renovation. Fixtures falling off at the touch in bathroom and wall switches. Again too many really inexcusable faults to begin listing. REALLY surprised Ibis allows this place to function in its present state under their name! Sorry!!
