"Ibis Fontainebleau"

Great location very near the Chateau (although it needs a SatNav to find it) - rooms on the small side overlooking other buildings. Only major issue is the parking - we have a long estate car and I was very glad my husband volunteered to negotiate the narrow bends of the underground car park
"Not suitable for disabled"

On arrival to Ibis underground car park there was no lift access for a wheel chair and luggage, only stairs up to the hotel.The car park was used for several other hotels as well, we were unable to leave back through the main entrance due to the electronic security gate had closed behind us and a code was needed to open it again. There was no information available, with no way out we had to find another access route up to another hotel to come out at street level. We felt rather trapped with luggage and an elderly lady in toe in a wheel chair. A this point a car entered the car park and a man told us we were not allowed to access up through another hotel and gave us the code to get out back through the entrance of the car park. On arrival to Ibis there was no ramp access in to the main lobby only via the fire exit where rubbish, trolleys etc were stored which we used each time we went in and out. Not pretty. We were given 2 rooms as booked, the first Disabled Room had a bath and second with a shower with a high step into it, not really for disabled people !! Both rooms were rather too basic, tired and needed a refurb, towels were extremely thin difficult to use twice. On booking via the internet it was a 3 star Ibis but on arrival we saw it was only 2 star, rather disappointing experience. Staff were helpful and pleasant, breakfast was the usual Ibis style what you would expect - ok.Centrally located which was good for the resturants and Chateau.

As always quick, easy and efficient. Close to a number of restaurants and the staff is friendly and very willing to help (if needed). It is quiet enough. I always stay here if in the area.

Hotel easy to find and only a 2 min. walk to Fontainebleau town centre. A quiet location helping for a good nights sleep. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Everything was up to the usual Ibis standard.... clean and tidy. Good sized underground car park .

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times. Up to its usual standard. Convenient location in town centre but vehicular access is somewhat inconvenient. Had problem getting slot outside hotel to unload/load topbox on car as underground car park too low. Were allocated ground floor rooms (for first time) one of which was extra large (disabled?). Well run budget(ish) hotel in a lovely town.
"Field Trials"

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel whilst attending the National Spring Field Trials with my dogs. The staff were very helpful and the room clean and quiet. I can keep my dogs with me in the room overnight - this is very valuable to me.The address is convenient to a large number of restaurants and parking is convenient. I will return again next year.

Excellent choice for a very decent and no-frills kind of place. The staff was courteous and very helpful. Rooms at Ibis tend to be tight on space, which is the only main low point, especially if you have a couple of suitcases with you. On the other hand, the continental buffet breakfast is absolutely superb: fresh fruits, good coffee, yogurts, cheese, ham, Spanish omelet and, take note, nowhere else in the other three cities we visited in Europe during this trip we found such an amazing quality of breads and croissants, and the best granola cereal ever. Thank you Ibis!
