First time here are a conference. Somewhat sub-par for a hotel right in the heart of downtown. $250 / night stay certainly did not live up. Room was pretty tight in space. No plugs of any kind near bed so bring a long extension or power bank. Staff was friendly but needs more knowledge about the general area. Asked about a coffee shop open at 10pm and front desk said walk to the market? For the same price, chateau Laurier was right across the street.

Hotel is located in close proximity to ByWard Market as well as Rideau Centre, so I could walk everywhere. Room was nice and clean. Staff very friendly and professional.

Great location, easily served by public transit (bus and subway). Restaurant was surprisingly excellent with good food, cocktails and a great local beer list. The pool is shared with the hotel next door/connected and is a nice option though the hot tub was closed at some point. Gym was well outfitted and clean. The rooms were clean. Not a cheap stay and was a bit chuffed at the sign that an extra Nespresso pod would cost me a dollar. Seems a bit nickel and dimey and a bit of a turnoff. Overall the hotel was clean and serviceable but I expected a lot more from an ACCOR hotel at this price point, especially on a Sunday night with lots of availability.
