I stayed at this hotel with a friend for 3 nights. We wanted to be between the Duomo area and the Centrale station, and we were looking for something not too expensive since we each wanted our own room. The Ibis fit the bill: reasonable, very clean, good breakfast. There is a metro stop at 5 min from the hotel and the Centrale is just over 10 minutes from there. It also has a nice little bistro. We had a reservation at a very nice restaurant nearby but we were exhausted and we decided to stay in and we were very satisfied with our meal. The staff is great and very helpful. There is a little bit of traffic noise which worried me since I’m a light sleeper but it stops around 11 and becomes very quiet. I would certainly stay there again if I go back to Milan.

Clean, basic rooms - good base for a stay in Milan. I can see why people say the rooms are small but for 2 of us it was fine. We stayed for 3 nights - beds were really comfy and shower was decent. The bar/restaurant seems busy each evening but we didn't use either. Breakfast was ok - not loads of choice that was to my taste but enough to get something in you until lunchtime - definitely better than nothing. We walked to the lovely QC Termelina spa in about 30 mins and you could be at the Duomo in about 20 mins or so walking. We did also use the metro and trams - both easy systems. I would recommend this hotel as somewhere to stay whilst you explore Milan.

I have stayed at IBIS hotels in the past. It has been for a day or two and usually; they are a clean reliable hotel. The desk staff was friendly, the breakfast was good for the price, and the place was clean. The overall experience as the hotel was terrible; the room was too hot, the staff kept closing the window and turning on the heat. We went and bout a fan so that I could get some sleep. With the windows open, even on the 6th floor, it was very noisy. I am a Platinum Level rewards member and received no drink and no early check in. I have to rate this as the worst time I have spent in a hotel in the last 20 years.
