Near the Larissa Station so getting around was easy. Plaka appears to be the most beautiful area but I would think that it would be more expensive to stay in that area. The Novotel is clean and well priced with all the conveniences required. Staff very friendly and helpful.

"very good price/quality relation"

The hotel has a very good price/quality relation, the location is the only thing that is not brilliant; the last night I stayed there was a noise that did not let me sleep so well...

"EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY"

Although the area where the Hotel is situated is not a very good the Hotel is an Oasis with good food , service and logical prices

"Good hotel, not so good location"

As many people pointed out the location of this hotel is not good, the view of decrepit houses is not what you have in mind when thinking of Athens. But considering that its location is 5 minutes walk from Larissis station, it should be predictable. If you want a nice location, you stay in Kolonaki. Hotel is clean with some mishaps (the carpet should be industrially cleaned with professional stain removals or changed in the rooms and in the hallways), the service is very good and friendly, and the price is ok. The room and the bathroom are standard Accor so you cannot have surprises, great shower (constantly running hot water which is unusual in Athens considering their plumbing issues). Overall, i was satisfied with the hotel, i cannot rely with some comments saying that the area is dangerous, i never had any problem taking the route from Larissis station to the hotel, even at midnight.

"It was average"

The location is not very nic and you need to have a 10 mins walk till you reach the underground metro. The front desk staff are friendly the rooms need more attention as for example the location of LCD is totally in wrong spot.

Even if not that far from a metro station (5 min walk) that is 3 or 4 stops from Syntagma square, this nice hotel is located in an area that is not very safe, especially at night.

Good breakfast, good room, free internet access, good location. I recommend this hotel for travelers, who want to stay without any headaches and problems. I booked this hotel by internet and received very good price - 63 euro per night including breakfast! I think this is reasonable price for this hotel.

very good service, friendly staff, perfect food, excellent fitness room, very fair price, relaxing and comfortable bad, always with pleasure to come back, unfortunately suroundment is not mperfect, but for trvellers with car there is very suitable garage , available 24 hours.center of city is on walking distance, which is great advantage.it is easy to access hotel.

The location is near Omonia Square which the centre of Athens, but the surroundings are not really good for a tourist. It's a residential area which you can't see any thing and not clean as it should be. It seems as second class neighborhood or a place under-construction. I think Novotel should be working to find better spot.

The hotel is in a location that you don't want to be there all alone on the street in the middle of the nigth. It is a kind of neighbourhood that never matches with NOVOTEL image. When I was making the reservation, I was sure about the neighbourhood and everything as the name is NOVOTEL. I was surprised.

We are absolutely content, but metro+bus strike made us a quote nervous. Mostly we have been staying in Sofitel Airport, but this time we wanted to spend some time in center. In Greece we love islands, not Athens.

My impession for the Hotel is perfect. Very good and clean room, good enough size for two persons. Only the wardrobe is small and there are not drawers for the clothes arrangement. The service was perfect. The personel was very kind and helpful.The breakfast was rich and tasted, as well as the mill which served in the restaurant.But the location of the hotel is not go with the high services offered by Novotel.We enjoyed our accommodation and we will visit it again in the future.
