ibis Dublin: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Friendly stay"

23rd May 2012, Dubhlucy, Dungarvan

The Ibis hotel is very convenient and a great place to stay, the staff are very helpfull and friendly and deal with all requests promptly and courtiously

ibis Dublin: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Back again"

17th May 2012, David T, Runcorn

The hotel is a regular stopp over and this year it is my 4th visit. We had a novalty on the last day as one of the members was Irish. Although speaking very good English the staff are mainly from Europe and one was Argentinian. I get to practice my French And German. The hotel has one draw back. Its location. 8.5 miles from Dublin there is a steep incline from the tram stop. However they must be doing something right as our group keeps coming back.

ibis Dublin: 2.0 out of 5 stars "Mediocre"

16th May 2012

Quite far from city, would suggest paying 10 or 20euros more to stay in town. Hotel furnishing looks quite old, in more spartan conditions than other ibis hotels I've seen.Service ok... but definitely not obliging.

Management responseMany thanks for taking the time to comment. We appreciate all feedback. Very sorry, if you find the hotel far from the city, the hotel is 20 minutes away from the city on the Luas (Tramway). If you'd like to talk about the matter further, please feel free to email me on h0595-gm@accor.com.Kind regards,Patrick Le HenaffGeneral ManagerIbis Hotel DublinClondalkinDublin

ibis Dublin: 4.0 out of 5 stars "A very affordable stopover"

15th May 2012, Madrid

A very affordable and clean hotel for a quick stopover in Dublin. I needed a hotel for a one-night stay between Dublin and Cork and Ibis was the perfect fit. Very clean, basic, and a great price.

ibis Dublin: 3.0 out of 5 stars "An OK place"

15th May 2012, Stephen H, Bangor, United Kingdom

Stayed one night at the Ibis Red Cow, last year I stayed for three nights so I must have thought it worthwhile...advantages, it is cheap and reasonably comfortable, the bed suits me (I like a hardish mattress and I got a good nights sleep) and if you need to get into the centre of Dublin, as I did to go to Connolly Railway Station iut is only 4.40 euro return on the Luas (about 30 mins). Ate in the restaurant this time, a bit pricey for a small portion, then again I am vegetarian and so do not get much choice. Breakfast very good if you want a continental breakfast for about 4.40 euro, however I paid 9.00 euro online where it didn't have continental only option. Staff were friendly and helpful.

ibis Dublin: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Ibis Red Cow Dublin"

18th April 2012, eviefahy, Limerick, Ireland

Stayed here to attend a concert in the O2. I have stayed in the Ibis Dublin a few times and have never had any trouble. It's a great location, clean, has friendly staff and is very reasonably priced. The option to pay for breakfast on the morning at only €9 is great too. Overall a great stay as usual

ibis Dublin: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Great Service for a low price"

17th April 2012, The Hague

Check in was quick and easy. We had a light flickering in the washroom and called the desk for service. Hotel maintenance had taken care of it within 5 minutes. Great friendly service. Shopping close by. For the very low price that I paid I could not ask for more. Next to the M-50 and only a 15 minute drive to the airport. Plenty of free parking. Will stay there again when in Dublin.

ibis Dublin: 4.0 out of 5 stars "airport stay"

15th April 2012, Paulgosling, Derry

The hotel is good, clean with excellent service from the staff. However, it is rather out of the way and difficult to find - especially if driving by car from the airport.

ibis Dublin: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Easter Break"

7th April 2012, Limerick

My wife and daughter has stayed twice in this hotel in the past two months and we had an excellent stay on both occassions. It has easy access to the M50 and is also very close to bus and rail services. The staff are very friendly some of whom we have known over the years. On one of our recent visits we had a problem with our car, and we could not have have had any better help and sympathy from the staff. We also used the restaurant and found the food excellent. Very good value for money and definitely service with a smile

ibis Dublin: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Great value budget hotel with fast access to Dublin City Centre and the airport"

16th February 2012, Archie3033, South Brent, Devon

There's no need to use a car for a visit to Dublin - stay at the Dublin Ibis on the western side of the city. It's a ten minute walk over to the Luas (Dublin tram system) and in 25 minutes you're in the City Centre. The Ibis has a direct 24 hour coach link to the airport as well. We've stayed there for a few days over the last five years and the Ibis offers helpful and welcoming staff, good meals and comfortable rooms. For the quiestest ones, ask for obne overlooking the back car park of the hotel.

ibis Dublin: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Great Value & Great Service"

3rd February 2012, Coventry, United Kingdom

The staff were very friendly and very helpful, even though the price was cheap the staff were very friendly and helpful, despite being right by a major junction the outside noise was barely noticeable, only downside was the quality of teh brekfast which could have been better.

ibis Dublin: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Couldn't ask for more"

13th October 2011, Lommel

Everything was great except getting to the hotel which is still not well signposted when coming from Dublin city. Other than that this is a great place to stay especially if you are heading south from Dublin. I find this hotel amazing value for money and have stayed there a number of time and will do so again.

ibis Dublin: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Very good for the price"

8th September 2011, Moneygall, Ireland

At the end of the day it's a bugdet hotel but you get the basics and for one or two nights it's ok. Great for getting in and out of Dublin as the Luas is only 5 mins walk away. I stay very often for these reasons.

ibis Dublin: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Dublin"

28th August 2011, Sandstone Point, Qld Australia

Overall the location, the value, as they say you get what you pay for as this is not a luxury 5 star hotel, the rooms were clean, the bedrooms were of a good size, the staff were good overall. Our disappointments was with the meal on the first night, they had a reduced menu because of the bank holiday. We selected the Fish and Chips from the menu, it said fish and chips with peas, didn't get the peas but the fish was disgusting, it was a dark brown in colour, the ends were dried out because it was overcooked, the bank holiday was no excuse to dish something like that up. We didn't line up next day it was so bad.

ibis Dublin: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Good Visit"

11th August 2011, Oloron-Ste Marie

It is very handily situated for getting the Luas into town to avoid traffic problems. It is also handy to the airport and the Limerick road N7. Our room was spacious with a sofa bed and a good size of shower not on a bath. Due to meeting family our only meals were breakfast which had everyting we needed. It would help if there were some signs as finding the entrance was not easy and we missed it the first time.
