"A very expensive sleep over"

Have stayed in this hotel on many other occasions previously. We consider the staff very friendly and the fact that it accepts pets is an advantage. The last stay was not too joyful though since we were robbed of our trailer at the hotel car park during the night. This happened inspite of 20 cctv cameras installed on the premises resently. More has to be done in order to keep vehicles/trailers safe @ that parking during the dark hours though.The hotel manager gave us a full refund of our stay and that is positive. I would not recommend people leaving their vehicles unattended in that parking at night time though. It is not safe until further adjustments has been made. The staff is friendly but the area is not that " friendly" unfortunately. It is a budget hotel with a risky parking area at night..

Management responseDear sir,First of all I am extremely sorry about the incident and as you know, the hotel with the Garda has immediatly taken action and done what was possible to find your trailer. I am sorry if it has not been found yet. The area is NOT an unsecure area and your comments does not reflect a general issue. A General good practice is to remove valuable items from your car/trailer. Your Christmas presents could have been kept inside the hotel (not the trailer). "Lovely hotel great value"

If you don't mind staying a little outside Dublin this hotel is perfect. Nice big spacious rooms, plenty to eat at buffet breakfast and friendly staff and unlike the rest of Dublin free parking and free wifi. Lovely hotel - we will be back.

excellent as usual, great value for money, very clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds and a great choice for breakfast of hot or cold items, very close to tram and bus lines to city centre, i would reccomend this hotel to all

"Great spot for starting your travels in Ireland!"

We were looking for a good value hotel for a stopover in Dublin on our way to a wedding in Kilkenny. Well I'm very glad we chose the Ibis! We had an easy trip from airport, checked straight in to a good sized room with a very large and comfortable bed and then popped into the city centre on the Luas, Would definately stay again!

"good but could have been better."

i have stayed here last 2 years on 1st week in december as a group of former workmates who meet up every year. The hotel always caters for my needs as sharing a room here is cheaper than getting a taxi home and its just to provide a bed for tne night.On this occasion on getting back to the hotel, myself and my colleague decided to have a night cap in the bar, how disappointed we were to be told to bring our drinks to our room and without an explanation as to why, especially when there was a large group of people drinking and singing in the bar at the same time. This unfortunately will make me think of using the hotel next year.

"Comfort, parking and good connections to Centre"

Clean , comfortable and quiet. Pleasant, helpful staff. Plentiful, free parking. Good Luas (tram) and bus connections to city centre (approximately half an hour away). Adjacent to ring road (M50) and motorway system. Recommended.
