Grand Mercure Sao Paulo Ibirapuera: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Exceptional"

It seems that they are trying to "lower" the standards of the hotel through a chain policy, but still the hotel is magnificent. I am not familiar with the other "boutique" hotels in Sao Paulo, that might exibit the luxury you would not dare to expect from a chain hotel. But this one specifically was beyond m expectations and all the hotel crew made me feel very comfortable, being solicit and cheerful when I called on the phone asking for anything.

Grand Mercure Sao Paulo Ibirapuera: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Mixed Emotions"

We had mixed emotions with regard to our stay. Half of the staff "WOWED" us with their service while half of the staff were "VERY RUDE". Being an Accor Platinum member in Accor's finest brand, we cannot help but be very disappointed and dismayed by the latter.

Grand Mercure Sao Paulo Ibirapuera: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Very nice hotel with exceptional service"

Pluses are exceptional service, spacious rooms and for Accor Loyalty they even have a two way taxi ride reimbursed for each day for travel withing 5k. Recommended good local restaraunts. While they have an exceptionally nice restaraunt for lunch it is a bit pricy and the snacks at the bar are not quite enough. Would do better to have a bistro type lunch place for meetings at the hotel and put more emphasis on the elegant evening meal. (in fact it seems like the lunch place was fancier than the dinner). Overall a nice choice and fairly close to the park.
