Did express check in but the express desk was empty on arrival. At the desk, the express check in with passport confirmation was longer than normal. A basic query about room availability to a higher floor or better positioning in relation to the park was met with a mumbled no. The staff member didn't welcome us and didn't take their eyes off their screen. They were seemingly interested in my enquiry or customer service. On the first morning at around 3 am I was awoken by people drinking outside my room. I got up at 8 am in the morning for a run and told someone at the desk of the problem and that drinks glasses had been left on the carpet outside my door by these revellers who had disturbed my sleep. I was advised that they were sorry about the disturbance and assured the glasses would be cleared away. We travelled to Amsterdamse Bos for parkrun and returned at 10am to find that the glasses were still outside out room but our bed had been remade, so cleaners had been on the floor but my complaint not addressed. Bar staff were very attentive. Breakfast is still overpriced, you can dine at a fine brunch restaurant nearby for less and the food is not buffet but cooked to order. I mentioned this on one of my previous visits but the hotel .anger was dismissive repeating a script about the buffet being g value for money. It isn't. This is my third visit to the hotel in two years. You previously were attentive at the front desk and went above and beyond. This time the front desk was stretched ( two people working on the two occasions I had to approach it) and the express desk empty...what the point of the membership? The rewards can be garnered from using booking.xom who have better rates. I was close to choosing another hotel for this trip but was persuaded because you've been Very ood previously. In spite of the hotel costing more than the hotel being considered near Europaplein.

Good experience in terms of infrastructure and location but not in terms of payment.

Everything was ok but I was charged twice in my credit card regarding the same expense, already request to solve it but so far no one replied.

I asked the receptionist to find my friend’s AirPods staying room number 1030 on 5th of march and check-out on 6th of march. No one answered, returned, I don’t know whether they couldn’t find the AirPods.

Room was very comfortable and quiet. Despite not being central, location was reasonably far from the main streets of Amsterdam. It was very close to both metro and tram stops where you can easily access Dan square, Central Station or museums. Room size was great, room facilities were also very good. Cosmetics including the shower gel and shampoo were high quality. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Amsterdam for sight seing, trying out nice breakfast places, visit museums and enjoy family time together.

Wherever I go, I will stay in Novotel because of a good quality for reasonable price. This is not the first time when I stay especially in this hotel, my experience is always good. The staff are always friendly, helpful. The restaurant and other facilities are well prepared. Plus, because of the membership I maintain, I also get useful rewards like late check out option for free, priority reception. I will stay here in the next time also if it is possible.
