Positive: The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and tidy. Suggestions for Improvement: The hallway lights were extremely dark at night, making it difficult to navigate and find my room. Installing motion-sensor lights would be a great improvement for safety and convenience. The breakfast buffet could benefit from more variety, particularly higher-quality baked goods. Some additional signage highlighting the breakfast offerings would also be helpful. Overall: Despite these suggestions, I had a good stay at your establishment.

We normally stay at the Ibis Reims Centre. This was fully booked, so we opted for the Mercure with underground car park. (NB - Our SUV had about 3” height clearance - worth checking). Baggage trolleys were available in the garage and there is a lift from the garage to reception and above. (Something that the Ibis Deauville Centre could really do with!) Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was very straightforward. The hotel was quiet and the bar empty when we came down for our complimentary welcome drink. (Only one between the two of us, which seemed unusual.) The room was a good size and quiet. It was in need of renovation - especially the bathroom. The counterpane was badly stained. We were advised that the hotel was scheduled for a renovation shortly, when all these matters would be addressed. Check out was straightforward and staff again very helpful and responsive to our comments.
