Dont assume an apartment equals the ability to cook your own meals like you would elsewhere . Note that there’s omission of microwave and oven (unless you want to PAY for the privilege of a microwave). Utensils are at a minimum. No bowls. Visit the ‘vivre gormet’ website and order delivery from there (food is delicious and well priced) Pool is quite nice. Those looking to have a Nanny, consider the depth at the deepest area (145cm), the entire lower pool. Some Nannys can’t stand properly and confidently watch your children. You may be limited to the upper area which is very busy. A bridge of some sort is needed to avoid the long route to the restaurant or bar. Don’t pay for the breakfast in advance, you’ll quickly realise the quality and range are dull. Restaurant is small when considering the number of buildings/rooms visiting during peak times at breakfast. Bar prices are ++ and are very similar to AUD pricing. The beach is a 10 min walk or a bus shuttle that leaves every 15 mins. Kids club is dated and small. ‘Kids’ pool is completely separate from the main pool area, tucked away between the tourist desk and kids club. No seating or bag storage space in the vicinity. Our Nanny was told off by staff for taking our children back in at breakfast to grab a handful of prawn crackers and marshmallow, but when my husband asked what was wrong they ‘invited’ him in for more food. Staff otherwise appeared quite nice. I paid full rates and extra for breakfast with no inclusions (no lux escape deal or the like) Considering this establishment boasts about being family friendly, I’m quite disappointed and will never return. (Travelled with 9 and 6 year old, 11 nights. Traveled to Bali 15+ occasions)

We had a good few days at Novotel Nusa Dua. Staffs were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and beds are comfortable to sleep in. Great facilities (pool, pool volley, beach front including the shuttle, table tennis, chess, and playground) which my children used regularly during our stay. Food generally good, breakfast options are not as good as other Novotel; would like to see a bit more options (maybe 2 more) of Balinese or Indonesian options in the breakfast menu. I also had an issue with hot water during my stay. We came back late and found the hot water system stopped working, thankfully the staff came and fixed the hot water system and we had warm shower for the remainder of our stay. Relaxation options such as massage was available and we did give it a try. My wife and I had a mixed experience, however in general it was good. We did not have the opportunity to try the kids club, however, we thought it was a great idea to have such option to give parents a bit of break to do their own thing. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Novotel Nusa Dua and would return to stay in our next trip to Bali.

We enjoyed spacious 1 bedroom apartment, daily room service, Pause Cafe is excellent, their food is so much better that at the restaurant, we loved pastries and cakes, the staff is amazing. Our kids enjoyed junior spa experience which adds that special touch. Restaurant and breakfast could be much better, presentation could be improved.
