Sofitel was one of the best hotels/resorts we have ever stayed at. The over the water bungalows are a must while visiting Moorea. The customer service was exceptional, the resort clean and beautiful. We will be back for another visit!

Location, location, location. Very beautiful spot but facilities needed a facelift! The pool is missing tiles, the bungalows need repair/paint, and the food was only adequate especially for the prices charged.

Overall , we greatly enjoyed our trip. We booked rooms 115 and 214. The rooms were nice. My only complaint is that room 115 is a horizon bungalow , but doesn’t have a horizon view. I expected to be at the end of the pier not 3 back from the end with a new across to other bungalows .

This was one of the best, if not THE best vacation we have had, thanks to the amazing staff and experience at the Sofitel! Even though we arrived early, we didn't have to wait too long for our amazing overwater bungalow. Jack at the front desk/concierge was kind and gracious (but who wasn't on the entire island?!) and gave us all the information we needed and always with a smile. Every single staff member we encountered was so kind with a genuine "ia ora na!" which made our stay so pleasant. The overwater bungalow was definitely worth it as we had the best snorkeling right off our own deck. On top of all the different kinds of colorful fish, we saw an eagle ray multiple times, puffer fish, eels, and a shark(!) from our room. It seemed surreal. Our bungalow was perfectly appointed with everything we needed for a super comfortable and amazing time.
