I have stayed in this hotel many times over the last few years while travelling on business to Madrid. I generally find it comfortable and convenient as a business traveller. On this occasion there was no air conditioning working in my room which meant that I was unable to sleep properly at night and even while getting dressed in the mornings I was finding I was sweaty and uncomfortable. When I asked at reception if something could be done about this, I was met with a shrug - "Yes we know it is not working, but there is nothing we can do". I understand that things do go wrong from time to time, but I would have liked some acknowledgement of the discomfort and an apology. I was left with a feeling that the team did not care.

Your satisfaction is our utmost priority, and we are dedicated to ensuring that you have the best experience possible during your stay with us. We would like to further explain our central air conditioning connection policy, which is aligned with an energy efficiency law and our commitment to sustainability. As part of this initiative, the central air conditioning is automatically activated when the outdoor temperature falls within a specific range, ranging from a minimum of 19 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 25 degrees Celsius. This measure not only helps us comply with the energy efficiency standards required by the law but also allows us to reduce our environmental impact by minimizing unnecessary energy consumption. However, we understand that this may affect your comfort level, especially at certain times of the day or in particular weather conditions. Please allow us to reiterate that we are here to address all your needs and are willing to find solutions that provide you with the level of comfort you expect. If at any time you feel that the room temperature is not suitable, please do not hesitate to contact us, and we will do everything possible to adjust the settings or provide you with alternatives to make you feel more comfortable during your stay. Once again, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and we thank you for your understanding and patience as we work together to ensure your satisfaction. Air Conditioning permanently set at 23.5 degrees. I didn't enjoy one decent nights sleep as it was FAR too warm in the room. Spoke to reception (they were excellent in trying to help and communicate) who informed me it's a government issue??

The hotel is ok. Pros: near airport, IFEMA, subway, and one of the housekeeping staff, Elana how was very nice. Cons: older hotel (in renovationed on floors 1-2), very warm rooms with no cooling, minimal food options.

Well located, close to offices. Room a bit outdated or not well maintained for 4 stars. Good breakfast with a lot of choices and good coffee but area looks like a canteen, not very friendly, not nice restaurant. Terrace was not yet opened while weather was great.
