Terrible location, shocking sleep quality

Located in the middle of no where. Requested a quiet room and was put in a room next to an elevator. The elevator themselves are extremely loud. I have lived in an apartment that had the elevator in our unit and could barely hear it. This was louder then a jet plane flying low overhead. Mattress/fold out sofa quality is terrible as are the pillows. Quite literally got no sleep, would of slept better in the car in the carpark. Husband went down to see if we could at least get ear plugs only for the person at reception to smirk at him. I don't see the joke in us paying money for the inability to sleep.

The staff were polite. Found the restaurant a hit under staffed. The rooms were kept well. One of our cleaning staff michelle was very considerate and left plates out for us which was much appreciated. The bathroom tap was only working on hot not cold. I did advise reception on day 2 of 6 but nothing was done. Breakfast was nice except staff was under the pump I also asked for a receipt to be emailed to me and I still haven’t received it

Booked and paid a queen size room , got a double on arrival. The bathroom was dirty, mould on tiles and floor grout. The bottom of the bath was dirty , counter tops were too, Clearly some parts of bathroom not touched by cleaner.

I booked on line via your website on the 16/4/2024 for a queen room. I also rang that morning about booking for dinner, I was advised that I didn't need to book. When we got there, we provided our credit card, paid for parking and was given our room key. We went up, our room had two double beds, we sat thinking oh well, but it got the better of me and I checked our booking and it was for a queen bed. I rang downstairs and mentioned that we had been given the wrong room. We were asked to go downstairs to reception. We did and was then told that they do not have any other rooms. I said but I booked online and paid for this on the 16/4, you should have contacted us. No we were not happy, the lady Asen asked if she could give us anything to compensate. My husband said we are yet to have dinner where is that, to be told no the restaurant isn't open tonight only Monday - Friday. This made the situation worse. To tell you a bit about us we have a big household with 7 people at home, two of those are our grandchildren aged 3 & 7, whom we love dearly. This night away was a break for us, so yes we were disappointed we had just driven 1 1/2 hours to get there to go to the caravan show the next morning. We asked if we could get a refund of which was given all but the $1.00 security deposit that was taken. So yes we were extremely dissatisfied, someone could have called to say that there was a issues with the rooms on the 17/4/2024 and it would have been nice to be told no the restaurant isn't open. Would I book that hotel again - No Way
