我在這家飯店過去為FourPoints時就入主過,這是改為mercure後第一次入住。我必須說,硬體與環境和fourpoints時幾乎一樣,連床單都未改變過。但是,從前台到餐廳服務人員的服務狀況都有很大的改善空間。前台人員始終只有一人在服務,不論有多少客人在等待。而且人員對於accor的相關規則和權益都不明瞭,例如並不知道如何使用accor點數支付房帳,或者一開始也不了解如何讓旅客預先deposit金額以供用餐消費能以房帳支付。餐廳人員在七點前就不期望客人進行單點的點餐,而早餐入內的接待人員經常在使用手機,其餘人員也未經常僅站著而未提供任何服務。而食物的品質也遠低於過去fourpoints的時期,但房價卻比過去貴上約五成。 實際上,這飯店的位置相當好,也有很好的海景。若能好好經營,可以成為accor常旅客前來檳城的首選。 然而基於目前缺乏管理的混亂狀況,我傾向不推薦旅客前來,直到它的經理人與員工能大幅改善之前。

1. Please improve the cleanliness of the room, ants are everywhere in the room. 2. The sound of motorcycles and cars could be heard outside the window, even during late night, which seriously affected our rest. 3. No one is at the counter when we check out (8am). 4. We accidentally left a box of biscuits in the room after we checked out and around 12pm we noticed it and called the hotel. The staff member who answered the phone asked for my phone number and room number and then hung up, I thought they were checking the room so I waited for them to call back. However, 1 hour later with no news, I called the hotel again and the same person picked up the phone and said they were waiting for housekeeping to go to our room to do the cleaning and then only they would know if there was anything left in the room. I don't understand why they have to wait the housekeeping to check after he finished the housekeeping, why can't they send someone go and check the room. The hotel called back at 3.45pm to say they had found the box of biscuits, but by then we were already halfway back to Selangor. If they could check the room earlier, perhaps we can still go and collect it before we go back. I requested them to courier the box of biscuits to my address in Selangor, and they said a charge will be applied, i agreed to the charge and then they said they will WhatsApp me the bank details so i could transfer the money to their bank account. 1 week after the check out, I did not receive any call or WhatsApp message from the hotel, and we did not received our box of biscuits, we try to call the hotel but no one answering. We have stayed in this hotel every year when we visit Penang for more than 10 years. We have been happy with our stay, so we never thought about going to another hotel. But this time we are very disappointed and we will not stay here again.

Nice hotel right on the beach. Gerard is a very attentive General Manager. The male and female bartenders understand customer service as well. The pool is a nice spot to beat the heat under the trees. There is a convenience store next door, but the nearest ATM is a five minute car ride away. There are not many on the island. Grab works well.

Located along the pristine shores of Penang, this beach hotel is a definite gem. From the moment you step into lobby youre greeted with warm smile and local hospitality. The room boast stunnig view of the beaches with rythmic sound of waves inviting to unwind and soak in the bounty of nature. The amenities are top notch with spacious pool area perfect for lounging the sun. With direct beach access makes it easier for us to stroll along the sandy shores Dining options are exquisite tantalizing array of local and international cuisines.

My recent stay at Mercure Penang Beach Resort was a breath of fresh air—literally. Located in Tanjung Bungah, it offers a serene escape from the city buzz while remaining conveniently close to key tourist spots within a 20-30 minute reach. The open-air lobby, overlooking the beach, sets the tone for a relaxing stay. The breakfast restaurant and M Bar offer a delightful start to the day, accompanied by a perfect view of the beach. Direct access from the lobby to beach is a definite highlight. The rooms are a haven of comfort and space, featuring a thoughtful layout with a sofa, coffee table, and a functional work desk. Multiple power supply points, including more than 2 international plugs, make it a tech-friendly haven. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the well-equipped facilities, including three treadmills, an indoor bike, elliptical machines, and basic weight training equipment.
