Really impressed! I spent an impromptu night here, it was booked late after a cancelled flight. What a lovely surprise. I nearly spent €100 more for the Citizen M but I’m glad I didn’t, this was excellent value. Staff are super friendly and efficient, bar area is nice and beds comfy. And the courtesy bus to and from airport was a bonus.

Great hotel near the airport

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip. The hotel is modern and feels quite vibrant. It is about a 15 min taxi journey from the airport or there is a shuttle bus, but be careful as not every shuttle that travels to the various ibis hotels stop at this one. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast was nice and dinner was very nice. All the staff I met were super friendly

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the warmth and hospitality during my unexpected stay in Amsterdam. With our flight to the UK canceled, Ibis became our haven for the night. Despite the initial stress, the check-in queue at the desk moved swiftly with the help of the efficient staff. The dinner and breakfast were delightful, and every team member I encountered, especially the blonde lady during check-in and the gentleman who provided me with a UK adapter, exuded friendliness and politeness. Even the shuttle bus driver, who had left, circled back to wait for me and opened the doors. My stay on the 2nd of January was made special by the dedicated team on duty—big thanks to each one of them.

Airport shuttle driver denied duty to Ibis Styles.. Only took to the other Ibis Budget Hotel. Although the timetable at the airport and at the hotel mentioned that the bus at that time would take to Ibis Styles. Stranded in the middle of the night and had to take public transportation. Totally unprofessional.

Dirty beds with stained sheets of blood and sweat

we booked 3 rooms in the hotel and the room we booked the bed have never been changed to receive a new Guest. In the morning we woke up itching all over our body and when I checked the bed was very dirty. I went to reception and explained the situation and showed the pictures and video from the dirty beds. the receptionist apologize and gave me a voucher for 3 drinks, as we were 3 in the room and told me it would be fixed when we return in the evening. I went back to the room and I removed all by myself the dirt bed cloths and threw them on the bedroom floor to make sure they would be changed. When we returned late in the evening, the bed were done and looked ok, when I checked it to make sure it was cleaned, it was Dirty and full of blood of sweat marks. They took the dirty mattress cover with stains from blood and sweat, I left on the floor and placed again in the beds with new sheets to cover it. I went to reception and spoke to Matias showed the pictures from the morning and the new pictures taken, he was in shock, so were we. Matias was very friendly and immediately checked for the room beside to replace us and refund the parking tickets and gave us another voucher of 7 drinks for all the 3 rooms we booked. I was very disappointed but couldn´t blame the reception for this. When I went to the new room beside which is just an extend door through the one we were, I checked the beds and was more dirty than the first room we slept the first night, with blood and sweat marks of others guest. Again I went to the reception to report it and they had no more rooms available to accommodate us, there were nobody from room service available to change our beds. We waited in our room for a solution and one of the receptionist came and gave us some cleaned mattress cover and bedsheets that we had to change ourselves and Matias refund us 1 of the 2 night. I wrote to the hotel manager Joy Scherpenzeel asking a full refund and she didn't want to do so, and told me I could tell my experience in trip advisor. Feel free to see the pictures I took from both rooms under and judge it by yourself. we will never going to stay in IBIS Hotel again in my life
