Good Staff But Poor Facility

I stayed here for a few days with my family during new year holiday. The hotel is not far from toll exit. The parking space is not too much. I think if in full occupancy then the parking space is not enough. I have no complaint with the staffs. They are friendly & polite. Quick process for check in & check out. I don't see any concierge staff. The security does double job as a concierge and bring my luggage to our room. But I think they lack of F&B staff, because we have to ask reception & waiting for a few minutes when we want to order some snacks. No staff at the bar or cashier. Different with the hotel facility, we do have complaint on it. The AC in our room is not cold even we set to lowest temp and highest fan. You don't need blanket for sleep or else you will get sweaty. It's not comfortable especially when you just returned from outside. I already ask the engineering and they just check & do nothing. They just said they already fixed the sirculation and we just need to wait for a few minutes. After a few minutes, still not cold. Also the corridor is hot and no AC. Do they just make cost efficiency? I don't know. But I think this is very bad for a 4 star & chain hotel like Accor Novotel. Also when we first check in, we smell a cigarette even it is a non smoking room. The wifi is ok. But the TV Channel is not premium for a 4 star hotel. There are no HBO, Cinemax or other movie channel, Disney Junior, TLC, Dicovery, NatGeo, etc. The second night when we just returned from outside, 1 elevator is out of order. So we have to wait quite long for the guest queue and second time there is concierge trolley. So we have to wait for another round. They have 2 elevator but not big. It's narrow enough for 5-6 adult The breakfast is ok & enough variety. But the unusual ones is you have to order sausage at the egg station. They don't serve in chafing dish. They will fry the sausage when you order. Also they already slice the sausage not the whole one. For entertainment they have swimming pool, gym, table tennis & spa. The swimming pool is ok & clean. AC at the gym also turn off (cost efficiency??). Overall we are not satisfy with the hotel. They need to improve their facility. And the most important is they have to fix the AC. When the guest pass the corridor & enter the room with hot condition, it will instantly makes you uncomfortable.

Novotel Karawang is the best hotel i’ve ever visited. They giving us comfy room , friendly staffs, flawless view, perfecto foods and beverages. There is one staff named Indah Setiani who guided me and explained everything that i got confused. I love to go back to this hotel. And the most important thing it’s affordable price Thank you really appreciate your services .

Was a pleasant stay in this hotel. Warm welcome by Ainun upon check in. Welcome drinks available in the lobby. Room was clean and have a good view. Welcome amenities was very nice. Breakfast was fantastic, a lot of variation of food. Thanks to Mr. Ridi for the service. Overall this hotel is great choice for leisure and business.

Stayed here as platinum member. I paid IDR290K before tax for the standard room i booked and they upgraded to a beatiful deluxe corner room. And the room was absolutely beautiful with incredibly comfortable bedding, really hard to believe for the price. A bottle of aqua reflection (premium mineral water glass bottle) with nicely decorated cake with chocolate writing in sundanese "wilujeng sumping" means welcome, were already in my room prior to my arrival with the room already switch on not using but name card of the GM instead (nice touch), which i think also manages the mewly opened mercure tangerang city center if i read it correctly. Shower was great with good water pressure, rain shower was also available. View from bathroom was also great. Breakfast were awesome i really love the porridge and bread butter pudding there were my personal favorite. And i can redeed my welcome drink vouchers (member benefits) for every drinks on their menu (some others also do this, but not with price under IDR 300k lol). Definitely put some other mercure and novotel offering nothing but tea and cofee to shame. If i value what i got besides the room i booked, my bookings basically have paid itself: 2x welcome drinks @50k / 100k 2x breakfast per pax @100k /200k 1x welcome ammenities @50k / 50k And thats not counting the free parking, the gym, the pool and many other accesible facilities, not to mention the acces to this hotel from toll exit is incredibly easy. Maybe the hotel suffers a loss from my stay lol never know Definitely one of the best novotel i ever come accross, much better than most 400k - 600k novotel indonesia, even on par with some of the best novotel including novotel bogor raya which i also really loved. And at under IDR 300k this hotel is NO BRAINER. And definitely still a no brainer even at IDR 500k lol Best of the best for novotel. 11 out of 5. All the staffs should be extremely proud. Notes: I have read all the non 5 star review of this hotel on trip advisor and none of them related to core hospitality so i think everyone can agrees that this hotel is beyond awesome :)
