This hotel looks old, but amazing for family. Large room size! Yeah love it so much! The bath room also spacious! Love it! Walking distance to Kota Tua, more than amazing! Surrounded with a lot of culinary area including the legendary petak enam dan petak sembilan market Go museum Wayang, get a guide, yah informal one, they will make your day in museum Wayang super worth it. Amazing history to learn and a lot pictures to take. The important one, mercure Jakarta Batavia staffs are good! Very helpful and so nice! The hotel food is not bad, oke for simple breakfast. Recommend to come!

Clean hotel, good breakfast, easy walking distance to Jakarta Kota station and nearby Old Town museums. Friendly staff, with a special mention for Tiana at reception who was always very pleasant and helpful.

Nostalgic colonial hotel

The hotel, previously called Omni Batavia, is a hotel with a heritage nuance, conveniently located in the old Jakarta city quarters. It is perfect for a short staycation to visit the old city quarters (Kota Tua) where you can visit the Fatahillah Museum, Cafe Batavia and several other attraction in the old city, which is a stone throw away (can be reached by foot). The hotel itself has 9 floors, where each of the floor has a section (in front of the elevator) dedicated to give a brief history of Jakarta. The lobby also has a classic colonial feel, with the lobby having (previously) phone booths with antique phones. We booked a family room with 2 twins, which was quite spacious for a family of three. The beds and the pillows were super comfortable (the most comfortable beds we have slept on). The food was typical for an Accor, 4 star hotel, which is to say "edible" and nothing to write home for. Like i mentioned in the beginning, the location of the hotel is very convenient, where in the front of the hotel you already have a historic place (Jembatan Kota Intan), within 6 mins walking you have the famous "Toko Merah" and then the old city quarters is just also a 6mins walk away (including to Cafe Batavia). All in all it was a good, comfortable stay and experience. I recommend this hotel for a short staycation if you want to visit Jakarta's old city quarters.
