My girlfriend went on a business trip and spent two nights at Mercure Bucharest Unirii. The room was perfectly clean, comfortable, and quiet. The hotel is in a very good spot, you can reach most of the interesting places in Bucharest by foot. And if this isn't enough - the service is AMAZING, they will do everything possible to satisfy their customers' needs. I called them to ask if they could deliver a bouquet of roses to my GF room (since I was in another country), and this is what she found when she came back from work. Many thanks to Brenda and the director Claudiu for the exceptional service and kindness, we'll surely be back soon!

Stayed in January 2024, in a very cold day (- 6 Celsius degrees) but everything worked perfect in the hotel. The heating system in the room was efficient, found a parking spot right in front of the hotel, the staff was kind and the breakfast tasty and plentiful, prepared with top quality regional ingredients. Nothing to complain about. A significant improvement comparing to my last stay here, about two years ago.

Hi Corina it’s always great to stay at your place thanks for taking care of my reservations very professional the day I checked in Merinela was there she was very helpful and the other receptionist Clara was great even the house keeping guys where great thanks to you all for making my stay comfortable will see you soon in couple of months BEST HOTEL COMPARE TO CH , Mojo ,Rin and holiday inn express in all the ways Have great year ahead Thanks

Stayed only for a night during a business trip. The Hotel was nice and modern, very quiet and with all the room facilities one would expect. Got a free upgrade because it was my first time but I would definitely go again even without it as the price was good (from a romanian booking Website). Special thanks to Marinela from the reception who handled everything in a professional and warm way.

Off hand reception staff unfortunately

Whilst the overall experience of my stay was very good , the attitude of some of reception staff prevent me scoring it as “5” . As an example - on returning from the old town after dinner we were surprised that the bar was closed at approx 1030. On enquiring we were advised that the bar shut at 2200 even for residents as not many guests use it . It was suggested we used the mini bar but there were 2 of us and the mini bar only held one beer ! In response to guidance to the nearest open bar we were told there aren’t any and we could get a drink in the old town ; when we reaffirmed we’d just come from the old town it was suggested we try star bucks ! However before doing so we tried Google maps , which showed 2 bars open within 100 m and 300 m of the hotel respectively ! Difficult to understand why the staff didn’t know this and advise guests accordingly , but it was their offhand attitude more than lack of knowledge which warrant the “ downgrade”.
