We stayed here 5 nights after our disembarkation of the @Scenic Eclipse II and our experience was wonderful! We began our checkin with Matthieu at the reception desk who got us into our room several hours before normal checkin time. Nothing was ever a problem with Matthieu! When I saw him a few hours later & asked him if I could check into a better room (for an additional cost) he made it happen smoothly. Our new room had access to Club Millesime and that’s where our experience went up a whole other level when we met Elmo who is the Senior Butler!! He truly took care of us. Asking whether we wanted a wine flight to include ALL the wines they poured to recommending local places to visit such as Watson’s Beach. Elmo is an incredible ambassador of the Sofitel brand and because of him I will continue to explore more of their hotels as we continue embarking on our world explorations.

An excellent hotel in a great location at Darling harbour, within walking distance of restaurants and cafes, and public transport. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with barista made coffee included. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the Balmain bath products are lovely. The only downside would be the time it takes to check in and out. Lines every time I went to reception, and one female staff member who couldn’t be bothered.

- Comfortable rooms, albeit quite basic. - Comfy beds, linen, robes and towels. Slippers could be of higher quality. - Liked the privacy glass between the toilet and shower. - Rooftop pool was awesome, plus good poolside drinks. - Juices at breakfast were delicious, but everything else was just ok. - Service was fine.

Great stay. Cudos to the staff including Karen, Tony and Bethany at reception. Oat and Yen in the executive lounge and Ellanore in pool area. Huge gold medal and Sofitel team member of the ataybgoes to Mr Eroni bar tender extraordinare! Comfy room great dining and breakfast options in house

Returned to this hotel after several years absence. Wow - what an improvement! Hooman, the new Manager of the Executive Lounge, along with Elmo made our 7 night stay very enjoyable. Breakfast and evening snacks have improved vastly. Our upgraded room was stunning, overlooking the harbour. One of the highlights was the all girl team in the lounge one evening, well done! Will certainly be back again to be spoilt.
